The Pittsburgh Steelers interviewed several NFL Draft cornerbacks at the NFL Scouting Combine, including Joey Porter Jr. Even if Porter, Christian Gonzalez and Devon Witherspoon are picked before the Steelers can select them, there are plenty of cornerbacks and safeties in this NFL Draft class who could be starters and become major contributors in Mike Tomlin's defense.
Also, safeties like Brian Branch should be players on the Steelers' radar. What's the best plan for Omar Khan to take advantage of this deep defensive back class? Should the Steelers double dip? Or should they spread their day two picks around other positions like offensive line, defensive line, linebacker and tight end?
