The Pittsburgh Steelers made three moves Tuesday to re-sign Larry Ogunjobi and Damontae Kazee, solidifying the team's turnover emphasis for the defense. Omar Khan and Mike Tomlin appear to be keeping the key players to set a strong tone for the defense in 2023 and use the new focus of the defense with Patrick Peterson and Minkah Fitzpatrick to prioritize the ability to create turnovers to counter teams/quarterbacks like Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills, and Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals.
Also, who is Nate Herbig? He's a large offensive lineman who's good at run blocking and out of the past of Steelers front office man Andy Weidl. But can Herbig overtake Kevin Dotson at the left guard position?
Finally, are the Steelers not acting fast enough to sign an off-ball linebacker? Azeez Al-Shair, Kyzir White and Leighton Vander Esch all signed with other teams, which leaves the Steelers with few options. What's the front office plan for the all-important position?
