Context: I served with Kip Tillman from the time of boot camp, through our infantry schooling and for the entirety of our time in 1st Bn 6th Marines. Though Tillman was in 3rd Platoon, I would see him all the time and he was always a stellar Marine, PT stud and all around good dude.
