Have you just been sitting around the house, staring longingly at your fishing equipment, just looking for a reason to get out and hit the water? Well, lets turn that frown upside down! Paddle N Fin has some exciting news for you! We will be hosting a season long multi-species tournament and the Noobs tournaments are starting back up again!

On today's episode, Sean and Susie break down both the multi-species tournament and the return of the Noobs tournaments, as well as the Dale Hollow Open!

First up, we go over a first for us here at Paddle N Fin, the multi-species tournament! Running from March 1st through October 31st, this tournament will cover all the states that border the Great Lakes (Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York), and Ontario Canada. Scoring is based on the number of fish and species of freshwater fish that you catch. There will even be bonuses for any other type of creature you catch while fishing this tournament. And back by popular demand, we will be again running monthly Noobs tournaments for anglers looking to dip their toes into tournament fishing. Designed for beginners to learn how tournaments work, to practice the catch-photo-release process, and for a fun way to pull the Noobs community together, the Noobs tournaments provide a fun and easy laid back way to get into the competitive side of our sport.

And of course, we will have our annual Dale Hollow Open on the weekend of April 22nd and 23rd. A lot of the PNF hosts are planning on making the trip and its always a fun time getting to meet and fish against listeners of the podcast with the backdrop of one of the most beautiful lakes in the country, and definitely enjoying the awesome amenities at East Port Marina!
