In God "covenanting" Himself with men, obligated Himself to men, and men, through faith obligated themselves to God. The biblical example of this is in the life of Abram, who later had his name changed to Abraham. Today, through the element of faith, men enter into an everlasting covenant with God through the blood of Jesus Christ that was shed on Calvary. All the benefits of this covenant are realized through Faith.
