About 21 percent of the 5,118 registered voters in Pipestone County voted in the presidential nomination primary on March 5. That’s higher than the approximately 15 percent of registered voters who voted statewide, but down slightly from the 23 percent of Pipestone County registered voters who voted in the 2020 presidential primary. According to the Minnesota Secretary of State’s Office, there were 5,092 registered voters in Pipestone County before the polls opened on March 5 and 26 people registered that day.
