ORANGE CITY, Iowa — Former Southwest Minnesota Christian School girls basketball players Maren Nerem and Kenzie Snyder are currently part of the women’s program at Northwestern College. Nerem, a 5-foot-11 junior from Edgerton, wrapped up her junior season for the Red Raiders. She started 11 of Northwestern’s 31 games during the 2023-24 campaign. This past season, Nerem compiled 1,230 minutes played — posting averages of 6.1 points and 4.4 rebounds per game. Maren dished off 30 assists, had 16 steals and blocked 10 shots.
