Southwest Minnesota Christian Schools’ head girls basketball coach Luke Drooger picked up some hardware at the Section 3A South Tournament final. After the Eagles defeated hometown rival Edgerton, 82-56, in the Section 3A subsection championship game at Pipestone Area Schools, Drooger was honored as coach of the year.
