Property valuation notices are expected to arrive in the mail this week in Pipestone County. The annual notices inform property owners of the estimated market value and taxable market value of their property. The estimated market value of a property represents what a property would sell for on the open market. This year’s estimates are based on sales from Oct. 1, 2022 to Sept. 30, 2023. The estimated market values should be within 90 to 105 percent of actual sale prices, according to the Minnesota Department of Revenue.
