Psalm 126; Matthew 25.19–21; Acts 21

Paul follows the advice of James and the Jerusalem Christian elders by praying and fasting for seven days, then paying towards the cost of several other men taking the Narazite vow. Whether he should have followed their advice or not, false rumours persist, and the crowd-pleasing gesture fails to restore peace in Jerusalem.
