Grandpa Dan discusses the world of make believe that passes as the collective West today. Make believe jobs in a make believe economy while people make believe that whatever the government and media tells them is real. This can’t go on forever and it won’t, no matter how much everyone tries to make believe to the contrary.
In this week’s Christian specific segment, GPD draws the contrast between the spiritual vs the worldly view. In the book of John, Jesus is explaining things in the spiritual and those he is interacting with cannot understand any of it because they cannot see outside of the worldly. This applies to the believer today as the world is not going to understand why you live the way you do. The believer is going to always seem strange to the worldly.
