Grandpa Dan muses over conservatives placing their remaining hope in the orange messiah Donald Trump. As they cling to the hope that the system can be fixed (in lieu of accepting that the system is actually functioning as designed) via voting for Trump, they never stop to consider the possibility that the great orange hope might be capable of doing to them what he did to the January 6 protesters.
In the Christian specific segment this week, GPD discusses how “a little yeast works its way through the whole dough” in regards to sin. Just as someone doesn’t wake up one day and realize they’re 600 pounds, a person doesn’t just wake up one day and realize that they’ve committed a grave sin and are drowning in iniquity. It all starts with what one perceives as “small stuff”.
