The U.S. Department of state announced steps to impose visa restrictions on multiple individuals in South Sudan for undermining or impeding a sustainable peace by engaging in corruption that fuels conflict in South Sudan. South Sudan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs says his office is yet to receive names of the individual South Sudanese who will be affected by the U.S. visa restrictions.
