The word "commitment" is not high on many people's preference list nowadays. Have you noticed? Commitment asks a lot from usit asks that we rely on people and not just ourselves, it asks that we live in terms of relationships. Commitment involves duty and obligation, and it requires us to trust others.
Not many of us want to be committed to other people. But what about commitment to Christ? If you want to "get a life," you have to be committed for time and eternity to God. The good news is, He's has already utterly committed Himself to you.
