When you lose a couple of times in a row to a different team in the court. You tend to think they have your number and you are on a losing streak.

In this week's tennis psychology podcast, mental game of tennis expert, Dr. Patrick Cohn answers a question from Karen.

Here's what KAREN had to say about his game:

My main problem is when my partner and I lose twice in a row, we let that “we’re in a losing streak” mentality creep up the next time we play.  How can I leave that behind? Also, I did teach myself tennis, so I know my strokes aren’t always the ones taught, but most of the time they work for me. Do you think I should try to change them or concentrate on doubles playing?"

Listen to the podcast to hear what Dr. Cohn explains and suggests on how to move on from previous lost matches and have a proper mindset to win the game.
