Friends of the Rosary:

Only the living water of the Holy Spirit — that graciously descends upon the faithful, as we learn in the third Glorious Mystery today— can quench man’s thirst for the infinite, as Benedict XVI once said.

Man is able to give affection and care to his fellow humans but never endless joy and peace since these fruits belong to the Divine.

As John the Evangelist said — and we read today, (Jn 6:63c, 68c) “Your words, Lord, are Spirit and life; you have the words of everlasting life.”
