If you’ve been following along, you already know that Italy has layers most travelers never see. You know that the Italy in guidebooks and Instagram posts is only part of the story. And you know that the version most Americans experience is often rushed, filtered, and incomplete. Today, I want to take it one step further and talk about something every traveler dreams of but rarely achieves: traveling Italy like a local, not a tourist.
