Gods ways and methods of working are completely opposite and in contradiction to the worlds system of doing things.
Suffering is the process by which God prepares us for what He has for us. It is also the making of a true disciple of Christ who desires to follow in the footsteps of His master. Seeing that we are headed into the sufferings of Christ, as we will celebrate Passover in a few days, it is only right and proper to address the subject of suffering.
If you going on a journey you are required to prepare for it; if you are expecting visitors you prepare to receive them. If you are building a house you prepare for it. If you are getting married you prepare for the occasion. Expectations require preparations.
God's Refining Process by Alpha and Omega Ministries International
In continuing with our theme on the Holy Spirit and His gifts allow me to describe in a few words who and what the Holy Spirit means to me.
We need to be taught how to flow with the Spirit and become knowledgeable how He manifests Himself among us so that when He does we can recognise Him and give Him the respect and the reverence He deserves.
I have come to value and appreciate so much the gift of praying in the Spirit over the years as it became a fountain of revelation knowledge and understanding flowing like a river, strengthening my inner man, and refreshing my soul.
God gives mankind instructions which are based on His nature and character and if those instructions are obeyed His power goes to work on our behalf setting us free from all diabolical influence and making us to be all that He intended us to be.
The purpose of this prophetic message is to prepare and align us with His plan so that we can step into this great awakening the Spirit is bringing in this hour to the Church. God is breathing afresh on His ekklesia and by the breath of His Spirit He is awakening and elevating those who are sensitive and obedient to the Spirit to the glorious place described in Isaiah 60:1-8
All of us know the Lord as our Savior; the one who saved us from our sins and delivered us from the fires of hell. This is just one of the many dimensions of knowing God but that is not enough. We must press on to know, to understand, and experience the Lord in all of His splendour and glory.
When we make a quality decision to stop grieving the Holy Spirit within us, by giving Him His rightful and honourable place in our life. Then, and only then, will He begin to woo and draw us deeper into the heart of God.
My vision for this year and my passionate desire is to go further in the Lord than I have been before. To go deeper into the love of God and experience greater intimacy with the Holy Spirit. It’s by His Spirit that we are able to pray prayers that touch the heart of God and stir heaven to act on our behalf.
