Actor Owen Wilson recently shared on CBS This Morning, "I don't think I was good. I just think there were parts I could play." That honesty is an open path for all who are creative. Creative people are given this huge source of energy then spend the rest of their lives wondering what to do with it. Too often we beat ourselves up for not living out the dream to it's full potential. "I don't think I was good. I just think there were parts I could play." This says, "I'm not over."
Thank you for being part of the conversation. This is Play It Forward. Real people. Real stories. The struggle to Play It Forward Episode 566 With Actor Scott Adkins From John Wick 4 puts one of our greatest action heroes in a giant prosthetic suit The movies are a stuntman's franchise. Directors Chad Stahelski and David Leitch are legendary stunt performers and coordinators, and one of the joys of their movies getting bigger with each installment is seeing Stahelski (who now directs the films solo) fold in more and more action pros from around the world, like Mark Dacascos of fame or Yayan Ruhian. continues this tradition, notably with Hong Kong star Donnie Yen and the king of direct-to-video action himself, Scott Adkins - but like we've never seen him before.
We make choices several times during one single twenty four hour period. Some are made behind walls, in front of windows and while walking through a door. No matter where you're standing challenges and changes are screaming out your name. Being in the right place helps you grow. Releasing steam doesn't mean getting angry or depressed about your present situation. De Frag was created to help inspire you to ask yourself the questions then question the answers. Stop running off to a friend or family member. They may live with you but they don't live in you. This is De Frag!
To make it a daily discipline to be not only replenish but to learn how to work the truera soil...
I'm an ambitious student of life. Watching all things in motion. The world is my daily writing. There's a lot to learn! A world with so many amazing opportunities and the decision for countless others is to be the taker. They didn't plant the seed but they're robbing the garden. Getting out of the taking mode begins with the image in the mirror. How about that selfie you posted on social media? It's not about what you see it's what would you like us to interpret? There are millions of fake smiles born every minute. While the taker is getting what they want, the giver is jumping off a cliff.
Pod Crashing Episode 205 With Ben Bowlin, Matt Frederick, and Noel Brown From Stuff They Don’t Want You To Know The co-hosts of the hit podcast , Ben Bowlin, Matthew Frederick, & Noel Brown, discern conspiracy fact from fiction in this sharp, humorous, compulsively readable, and gorgeously illustrated book. That seed carries the sordid, conspiracy-riddled history of our institutions and corporations woven into its DNA. Ben Bowlin, Matt Frederick, and Noel Brown host the popular iHeart Media podcast, . They are experts at exploring, explaining, and interrogating today's emergent conspiracies―from chem trails and biological testing to the secrets of lobbying and the indisputable evidence of UFOs.
March 24, 2023 Building a new day. Making yourself available for what you've planned only to be knocked off your path. As the production director of a huge broadcast company I learned how to never invest in my personal overview of the day. Sales reps were given endless amounts of permission slips to fly by the seat of their pants. The mission was to be available for them. Become a master of sudden change. Then one day you are the change. Which is happening every day in the business world. They've returned to their bad habits of unheard of amounts of cut backs. Now what? You gave them everything! The power of choice still lives within. Being a self-leader over all things. Think along the lines of collaborating not getting hired for another job. Go into the game as a collaborator. Lead yourself into a new layer of thinking and performing. Don't get set in your ways. Go into each collaboration accepting change.
To be activated with your wisdom by way of investing in hope, faith and trust. Nothing is designed to be pretty.
What if there was a wonder sponge that could pick up your greatest moments and replant them in your right now? Would it feel and look the same? You aren't the same person. The atmosphere has evolved. Would you still want it today?

We are creatures of habits. Creating those little monsters starts with how we practice. From music to meditation to martial arts to learning how to be a greater you. It's expected. You must practice. But do it right.
Show us how to step free of how we think. We're over saturated with self doubt fear shame guilt and whatever feeling that thinks it needs a voice...

March 20, 2023 “We have to keep failing. The moment we stop we failed.” A movie quote. Look at Thomas Edison. He kept trying to invite light into our nights. How many years did Moses travel across that desert? My Master in Martial Arts once said “Most people quit studying after they receive their Black Belt.” All of those times in class when you didn’t land the right kick or punch. The tournaments not won. We kept failing or we would’ve failed. That changes for so many once the weight of a Black Belt is wrapped around the waist. We live in an age of locating reasons to escape. It’s always going to be a choice. Do you leap now or wait for a different moment in time? To fail again and again. The moment you stop we failed.
Pod Crashing Episode 202 With Baratunde Thurston From How To Citizen Season 4 How To Citizen reimagines "citizen" as a verb and reminds us how to wield our collective power. In this time of pandemic and revolution, we find ourselves frustrated at so much: high levels of corruption and inequality, our inability to get basic things done, flagrant violations of human rights, and the persistence of systemic racism. Our democratic experiment is at a tipping point, but which way we tip is up to us.
De Fragging is asking the questions then questioning the answers. We settle for too many first steps. When in reality the answers you're truly looking for are several steps from the origin. This week we put focus on preserving your lifetime experiences. Writing them for future readers and or a future self that wants to see how important personal growth is. Why don't you write? I hear every excuse and share so many tips as to how a journey like this can play out in the most positive ways. I keep a De Frag daily journal and we do vocal episodes without scripts. Being real means everything.
The hollowed out feeling of being empty is a choice... For you are never alone.
March 15, 2023 “Some people don’t know how lucky they are.” A quote from the television series Daisy Jones And The Six. My mother used this phrase many times while I was growing up. We always complained about living in a rundown home and wore used clothing. She wanted us to walk proud. The strength of those that walked before and with us is very present. It doesn’t come with light sabers and special skills to lift spacecraft from the water, but the spirit guides and keepers that are with us help clear the path. Some people don’t know how lucky they are.
Pod Crashing 201 With Dan Kitrosser From Svetlana Svetlana In 1967, Joseph Stalin's daughter braved her way over the Iron Curtain, secret memoir in tow, and landed in America as the Cold War's most famous defector. At 40 years old, Svetlana had left everything behind for a new life in the West and the chance to finally share her story. What she found instead - a controversial commune in the Arizona desert built by Frank Lloyd Wright, a whirlwind marriage dictated by destiny, and a Montenegrin matriarch with dreams of immortality - was far more complicated. In Svetlana! Svetlana! neurotic playwright Dan Kitrosser unravels the weird and wild life of his greatest muse.
Being a daily writer I'm blessed to sit inside this forest to receive the message from the presence of a universe so giving. Inside this journal called The Lyric's From Billy's forest I have four years of experience presented in word. How each entry widens the heart to this collection of trees. These are changing times. So hot that fruit are sizzling on trees in the UK. What do the other shapes of nature hear while we're experiencing the same climate? By the time this journal is complete will the trees still be talking with me?
Not everyone takes notes nor do we challenge ourselves by placing it deep into our memory banks. We don't know how to deal with the moment.
Making your way through a moment. Some call it a new season while others instantly label it bad luck. Because I'm a daily writer the choice is to document the moments. To learn from them on a future day and challenge. We are very guilty of repeating. It's a habit. Whatever you're experiencing in your moment has a connection to other moments already played out. Learning how to become aware starts with your ability to take notes. Trust me, the human mind doesn't remember everything. That's why they're called habits. We keep doing them because we keep forgetting how we got there.
