A POWERFULL NEW WIND OF TRUE HOLINESS IS GOING TO SWEEP ACROSS THE CHURCH! 1. ‘A new place of true Holy Spirit holiness and consecration in Christ is coming to prepare us for the Lord’s return. Jesus is coming for a HOLY end-time remnant...without spot or blemish. Hypocrisy, jealousy, compromise and other ungodly attitudes must go! God is calling us to SEPARATE ourselves out of the world and out of the apostate church. He is calling us to die to self and the world and live unto God. He is calling us to break all UNHOLY ALLIANCES. We are to separate ourselves from so-called Christians who are living ungodly, worldly lives and we are not to be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. In times of prayer, humble yourself in His Presence. Ask Him to reveal any worldly attachments, any unholy alliances, any areas of compromise in your life. Write them down on paper. If you have made “unholy alliances” with the world, BREAK THEM AND RENOUNCE THEM, regardless of how painful it may be. Otherwise, you are leaving an opening for Satan to attack you. 2. Christ is coming to His Church to purge and cleanse us before His second coming. You will be tried as gold is tried in the fire. During this time, He is going to bring to the surface all the impurities...everything in your life that is unholy and displeasing to Him. Do not resist or reject the correction and purging of His Spirit...yield yourself to Him. During your times of prayer, cry out to God and ask Him to reveal every area in your life that is displeasing. Yield yourself to Him and allow Him to remove it. Then, in the power of the Holy Spirit, rid yourself of all compromise, unholy desires, unholy attitudes and unholy alliances. Remember, this time of cleansing and purging must come FIRST...before you will experience the manifestation of the winds of signs, wonders and miracles in your life. After the cleansing will come the breakthrough—the flood of God’s power in your life! Begin this week to walk from a new place of holiness in Christ Jesus in every area of your life and the winds of the Spirit will carry you in every assignment and way the father has planned for you.
A continuation of the Crises Series....centering on the work of the Holy Spirit. GOD’S ENDTIME STRATEGY FOR THE CHURCH... SET A WATCH IN PRAYER! 1. In this day of spiritual destiny as we face the coming crises and the winds of the Spirit, our major strategy must be to SET A WATCH IN PRAYER. Step #1 - Shake yourself out of your spiritual sleep! Jesus’ coming is going to be SUDDEN...UNEXPECTED…WITHOUT WARNING. Therefore take spiritual inventory in your life. Ask yourself the following questions: Do I really believe Christ is coming soon? Am I anxiously looking, expecting Him to come? Have I become too busy with the cares of this life, seeking to fulfill my own desires that I have become unaware of the lateness of the hour? What am I doing to prepare myself and warn my unsaved loved ones of the judgments that are coming upon this earth? Step #2 - Be constantly on guard and spiritually alert! Just as in the natural a WATCH is set and the soldier is on guard for around the clock duty...24 hours a day...you must also set a watch IN THE SPIRIT. You must not let your guard down for one minute UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! You must SPIRITUALLY STRIVE...be faithful not only in hearing the word...BUT DOING IT! You must strive...do everything within your power to be faithful in doing the will of God. You must be DILIGENT in preparing yourself and walking before God in holiness. The faithful servant whom Christ will receive at His coming is the one who is in a constant state of readiness and expectancy, who is constantly busy DOING His will. Step #3 - Guard against becoming weighted down with the cares of this life. You must not allow yourself to become overwhelmed...so burdened and loaded down with the down-to-earth, nitty-gritty cares of this life, that you become SPIRITUALLY DISABLED...where your discernment has grown dull until you are unable to hear what the Spirit of God is saying. At the end of every day this week, ask yourself... Did I stay so busy today with the, cares of life that I did not take time to prepare myself for Christ’s coming? Was I looking for and expecting Christ to come? Was I BUSY DOING the will of God? If you find that you have become so involved and burdened down with the cares of life that you have forgotten and neglected each day to prepare for His coming, ask God to forgive you, to shake you and enable you to REDEEM the time (Ephesians 5:16). This week SET A WATCH IN PRAYER God is calling the Church to intensify prayers to a level greater than ever before in its history. He is commissioning you to set a watch in constant prayer...24 hours a day! He wants you to be spiritually alert and remain in a CONSTANT attitude of prayer and communion with Him. This is not a time for us to be at ease. More than ever before members of the Body of Christ must bind themselves together in prayer. Knowing the lateness of the hour and the crises that are coming, this week go before God in seasons of prayer and fasting, confessing your sins, the sins of the Church and your nation, and pray for a revival of repentance and restoration.
