We bring to you short Hindi stories which would fill you with different human emotions , each story is hand picked and carefully crafted for the listener. काला छाता छोटी कहानी – पढ़कर अपना मत अवश्य दें बारिश ने झड़ी लगा रखी थी...पर आज हर हाल में ही उसे घर से निकलना था वो अपने उस टीचर से मिलने को उतावली थी जिसने उसे सिखाया था कि पढ़ाया कैसे जाता है , खुद को गलाकर ...अपना सब कुछ देकर ...वो अपने जीवन के अंतिम कुछ दिनों को जी रहे थे ... और वो एक बार उन्हें देख लेना चाहती थी ..बारिश में भीगती वो वहां पहुंची जहाँ उसके प्रोफेसर का घर था पलंग पर लेटे प्रोफेसर रवि सिन्हा का चेहरा वैसे ही दमक रहा था जैसा उसने उन्हें पहले दिन पाया था ....वो शायद बिना सूचना दिए ही पहुँच गयी थी ...प्रोफेसर सिन्हा ने अपनी माँ की ओर देखा जो उनके पास ही बैठी थी ...माँ समझती हुईं सी उठी ..और उन्हें उनकी शर्ट दे दी .. तमाम ताकत लगाकर प्रोफेसर सिन्हा ने उसे अपनी सफ़ेद बनियान के ऊपर पहन लिया ...वहां खडी – खडी वो अभी एक बरस पहले की यादों में खो सी गयी .... उस दिन भी ...बारिश हो रही थी ....पर उसे आज कॉलेज जाना ही था ...घर पर छतरी एक ही थी और उसे कोई और ले जा चुका था ..भीगते हुए जाना अजीब तो लगता पर इसके अलावा कोई और चारा नहीं था ...अब तक की उसकी सारी बारिशे ऐसे ही बिना छाते के निकली थीं ..पर इस बार उसे कुछ अलग सा लग रहा था ..बहुत ही हलके गुलाबी रंग का लखनवी कढ़ाई का कुरता उस पर बहुत फब रहा था ...ये उसकी लाइफ का पहला शलवार – कुरता था अब तक वो साधारण सी दिखने वाली स्कर्ट या जींस ही पहना करती थी , ये कुरता और शलवार उसमें एक सुंदर लड़की होने का अहसास दुगना कर रहा था ...आज उसकी एम. ए की क्लास का पहला दिन था छतरी न होना अजीब लग सकता है , पर कभी उसे उसकी ज़रुरत भी वैसी महसूस नहीं हुई ..बारिश में भीगना बहुत अच्छा लगता रहा ..आज पहली ही बार ये अहसास हुआ कि छतरी के बिना घर से बहार पाँव निकालना कितना असम्भव सा है ... ..फिर भी घर से तो निकलना ही है ..यू स्पेशल का टाइम होने में बस पंद्रह मिनट बाकि हैं और तेज़ – तेज़ चलेगी तभी पंद्रह मिनट में बस स्टैंड तक पहुँच पायेगी ..उसके पास चप्पल भी कोल्हापुरी थी ..जो कि बारिश के मौसम से बिलकुल मेल नहीं खाती थीं ..उसने चप्पल पहनी ..पास रखे दूध के ग्लास से गट-गट दूध पिया बैग टांगा और आवाज़ लगायी – ‘’माँ ...मैं जा रही हूँ दरवाज़ा बंद कर लेना’’ ..और बारिश से बेपरवाह अपनी गुलाबी शिफोन की चुन्नी को संभालती निकल पड़ी l उसके कदम जल्दी – जल्दी उस ओर बढ़ रहे थे जहाँ यू स्पेशल आती थी ..तेज़ बारिश में भींगना और पैर से पानी को धकेलते चलना उसे बहुत अच्छा लग रहा था ..वो बस स्टैंड पर समय से पहले पहुँच गयी ..सभी लोग अपनी – अपनी छतरियों में सुरक्षित थे ...एक लड़की उसे पहचानती थी ..अब वो दोनों एक छतरी के नीचे थे l स्टैंड पर बस के आते ही सब लाइन बनाकर बस में बैठ गए ..उसके साथ जो लड़की थी वो एक दूसरी सीट पर बैठ गयी ..ये एक अनजान लड़की के साथ बैठी न जाने किन ख्यालों में खोयी थी ..अचानक एक अपरिचित व्यक्तित्व ने उसका ध्यान अपनी ओर खींच लिया .. ये लगभग अड़तीस – चालीस साल का युवा था ..उस युवा के माथे पर अद्भभुत तेज था ..काले रंग की बड़ी सी छतरी उसके एक हाथ में थी और एक खादी का झोला उसने अपने कंधे पर टांगा था वो उस बस में सबसे अलग लग रहा था ....उसका पक्का रंग उसके तेज को और बढ़ा रहा था ...लड़की ने आदर वश जाने ये कबमें पूछ लिया कि – ‘’आप बैठेंगे क्या ? उसे खुद भी न पता चला ..युवा ने बड़ी विनम्रता से कहा नहीं ..आप बैठिये ...’’ बस से उतरकर अब वो अपनी क्लास की और बढ़ रही थी , क्लास का ये पहला ही दिन था ..उसने क्लास रूम में जाकर अपनी सीट सुरक्षित करली ...पहला लेक्चर किन्ही प्रोफेसर रवि सिन्हा का था ..सभी आपस में बात कर रहे थे कि बहुत ही अच्छा पढ़ाते हैं ..क्लास की घंटी बज गयी थी ...सब शांत थे ..लड़की ने अचानक एक अपरिचित आवाज़ सुनी ..शब्द था - नमस्कार ..ये उसके इस क्लास के टीचर रवि सिन्हा का शब्द था जो आज सुबह उसे बस में दिखे थे .... लड़की इन्हीं ख्यालों में खोयी थी कि प्रोफेसर सिन्हा ने उसे अपना काला छाता देते हुए कहा ..ये अब तुम्हारा हुआ ..अब मुझे इसकी जरूरत कभी नहीं पड़ेगी ..लड़की ने छाता ले लिया ..और अपने प्रोफेसर को प्रणाम कर चुपचाप वहां से निकल पड़ी ... "कपलानी"  पहाड़ों में बसा एक छोटा सा गाँव ..... बादलों के बीच लुकाछिपी खेलता , टिम-टिमाते  तारों की  छाओं में सोता ....कभी साफ़ आसमान   दूर तक धूप में चमकते सुनहरे बर्फ से ढके विशाल पहाड़ तो कभी घनी ठिठुरा देने वाली धुंध । शहर की हल-चल से दूर ......शांत ..... | झरने से गिरते पानी की कलकलहाट  .........  दूर कहीं चारा चरती गाए  के गले में बंधी  घंटी की रुक रुक कर आती टनटनाहट।  ऐसा सुकून जो मन को पल भर में शांत  करदे ।  यहाँ कभी ही कोई भूले भटके सैलानी आया होगा  , जो भी आया  इस गाँव का  होकर रह गया ।  हलाकि सबसे पास का रेलवे स्टेशन ऐसा कोई खासा दूर नहीं मगर स्टेशन से उतर कर 10 किलोमीटर की चढ़ाई हर किसी के  बस की बात कहाँ और इतनी  दूर दराज़ जगह में कौन जाना पसंद करेगा।  शंकर और विष्णु इसी गाँव के दो लड़के हर दिन स्कूल के  बाद स्टेशन पर जाकर आती जाती रेल गाड़ियों को घंटों देखा करते  ..... यात्रियों को.....उनके चमकदार सूट -बूट .... सिल्वर रंग की चमचमाती घड़ियों की तरफ आकर्षित होते।  विष्णु अखबार  बेच और शंकर  जूते चमका  घर के लिए कुछ पैसे भी कमाते । इस स्टेशन पर कभी कभार ही कोई ट्रैन ठहरती  , दोनों के मन में हमेशा ये जिज्ञासा रहती की आखिर ये बने-ठणे लोग कहाँ से आते हैं और इतनी जल्दी में कहाँ निकल जाते हैं ,ना खाने का समय ना रुक कर बात करने की फुर्सत ,जो मन  में आया खाया जो मन आया खरीदा ।  "इनके गाँव कैसे होते  होंगे क्या वहां भी झरने बहते होंगे "..... ऐसे स्वाभाविक सवाल भला दोनों के छोटे से मन में कैसे ना उठते  | 6 बजे की आखिरी ट्रैन "दून एक्सप्रेस" के चले जाने के बाद घर के रास्ते में दोनों अक्सर शहर की बातें किया करते वहां के कपड़ों , लज़ीज़ पकवानों के सपने देखा करते।  सोमवार की बात थी हर शाम की तरह विष्णु  और शंकर स्टेशन पर बैठे आखिरी ट्रैन दून एक्सप्रेस का इंतज़ार कर रहे थे।  ट्रैन आयी स्टेशन पर रुकी , कुछ यात्री उतरे कुछ अपनी सीट से ही सामान लेने लगे।  शंकर और विष्णु भी हर दिन की तरह अपने काम में जुट गए। महेश एक नौजवान... उसकी उम्र यही कोई 23 साल की होगी हलकी दाढ़ी ... बड़ा सा बेग कंधे पर लिए  स्टेशन पर उतरा उसने कहीं पढ़ा था कप्लानि के  बारे में। देखने में अच्छे घर का ही लगता था मगर ना  उसके पास चमकीली घड़ी थी ना ही रोबदार जूते।   ट्रैन के चले जाने के बाद विष्णु  और शंकर ने महेश को घेर लिया "भैया आपकी ट्रैन छूट गयी " महेश दोनों  के पास घुटने पर  बैठते हुए बोला "नहीं मेरे दोस्तों दोस्तों  छूटी नहीं मै कप्लानि ही आया हूँ "।  दोनों हैरान थे और  खुश  भी ना  जाने कितने सालों  बाद कोई शहर  से यहाँ आया होगा।  तीनो गाँव के लम्बे रास्ते की और बढ़ चले।  पूरे रास्ते दोनों महेश से शहर के बारे में अनेकों प्रशन पूछते रहे ..... वहाँ के घरों के बारे में .... चमकीली घड़ी  के बारे में  .... गोल्डन चॉकलेट के बारे में ..... स्वादिष्ट खाने के बारे में और  महेश बिलकुल सहज मन से दोनों का जवाब देता चला गया और धीरे धीरे  पहाड़ों की मन्त्रमुघ्द करने वाली सुंदरता में खोता चला गया। --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/shoonya-theatre-group/message

In all of the dance forms, Gendi is pure fun. The dancers are mounted on two long bamboo poles or on any firm pole and also maneuver through the crowd of other Gendi (pole) mounted dancers. Banging on the ground, keeping an excellent balance while swaying with tribal acoustics and percussions. Further, this is an amazing folk dance that has managed to keep its tradition alive.
