Deuteronomy 33:26–27 says this... “There is none like God of Jeshurun, who rides through the heavens to your help, through the skies in His majesty. The eternal God is your dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms.” Do you need help today? Help is on the way! Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.
Untiy is so very important. One of the hardest things in life is to get along with others. We are all different, and we will have our own opinions. Also, disagreements and disapproval of what others do may cause strife. Psalm 133:1 says this... "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”
I love the saying... "God is good all the time and all the time God is good." Nahum 1:7 says this... “The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him.” This critical truth is life changing. Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.
Have you ever sang the blues... you know those sad depressing songs. Job experienced that himself. Job 30:31: “My harp is turned to mourning, and my flute to the voice of those who weep.” Rather than focusing on the challenges... report for duty and see how God will use you, and when you do that... when you come back to your challenges... they will be lighter.
Psalm 107:2: “Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy,” Today is Thanksgiving Day in the US. As you gather together with family and friends, take the opportunity to say so. Share your gratefulness for His blessings and His salvation. Happy Thanksgiving!
Genesis 22:2: “Then He said, ‘Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.” This is the first mention of the word love in the Bible. Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.
Spiritual warfare is a reality in our day and in our lives. Listen to what Paul says in 2 Corinthians 10:4–5: “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,” Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.
Staying on track and on mission can be challenging for sure. Listen to what Nehemiah said when people tried to get him off mission... Nehemiah 6:3–4: “So I [Nehemiah] sent messengers to them, saying, ‘I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down. Why should the work cease while I leave it and go down to you?’ But they sent me this message four times, and I answered them in the same manner.”
The Bible, God's Word is inspirational. 2 Timothy 3:16–17: “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.
Ezekiel 36:26–27 says this... “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.” Let's talk about the new heart on today's Morning Manna.
Listen to what God said to Joshua in Joshua 13:1 - “Now Joshua was old, advanced in years. And the LORD said to him: ‘You are old, advanced in years, and there remains very much land yet to be possessed.’” There is no such thing as retirement... you must always have purpose. What is your purpose today?
Let's talk about the Lords prayer on today's Morning Manna. Matthew 6:9–13: “In this manner, therefore, pray: / ‘Our Father in heaven, / Hallowed be Your name. / Your kingdom come. / Your will be done / On earth as it is in heaven. / Give us this day our daily bread. / And forgive us our debts, / As we forgive our debtors. / And do not lead us into temptation, / But deliver us from the evil one. / For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.'”
Listen to what Jesus said... Matthew 16:24–25: “Then Jesus said to His disciples, ‘If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.'” Let's make that our mission today!
Matthew 18:21-22 says this... "Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times." Let's talk about forgiveness on today's Morning Manna.
