Kingdom Manifesto | Week 10 | April 24, 2022 by Northwood Church | Gulfport
John 11:25-27 - Jesus said to her, “I AM the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26, and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” 27 “Yes, Lord,” she replied, “I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, who is to come into the world."
Matthew 7:1-6 (ESV) ■ How do you properly judge someone? ● Pray for them. ● Love them. ● Speak the truth. ■ What if they don't receive it? ● Pray for them. ● Love them. ● Live the truth. ● Get counsel. ■ What if it’s you being judged? ● Pray. ● Love. ● Repent
Kingdom Manifesto | Week 8 | | P. Jordan Ducote | March 27, 2022 by Northwood Church | Gulfport
Every act of our life should be laced with the desire of bringing glory to God and not-self (Devotion). I think as believers we know this but often find ourselves not living up to this standard.

Kingdom Manifesto | Week 2 | P. Van Ducote | February 13, 2022 by Northwood Church | Gulfport
In this message we deep dive into the Sermon of the Mount in Matthew 5:13-20 (ESV)
In this message we deep dive into what are the counterfeit ways of spiritual health and how do we cultivate health in a Christ-centered way
In this message we deep dive into what are the problems of relationships and how do we cultivate health in relationships!
“In 2004, we (Andy & Melody Yarborough) began talking about the possibility of starting a practice that focused on treating the whole person. “Whole person” for us means focusing on and integrating a person’s physical health, soul health, relationships, and spiritual/existential growth in the treatment process. In addition, we wanted to help people discern how to live when the problem went away. Melody and I knew that appropriate training was necessary, so Mel earned a Master’s degree in nursing and I completed a doctoral degree in psychology full time for a bit to work in the church world. Each experience was beneficial. With each new experience, we became better at integrating different aspects of treatment and growth-oriented approaches to help people towards hope, wellness, and more meaningful lives.” - Andy Yarborough, PsyD.
Shalom - wholeness, completeness, soundness, welfare, well-being, peace. God’s heart is to bring us back to Shalom. “Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Thessalonians 5:23 (ESV)
In this message, we look forward to our new vision being implemented in 2022!
In this message, we look back at all of the wins that 2021 had at Northwood Church
How does Jesus coming again bring hope? - The complete fulfillment of all promises. - The complete restoration of all that was lost
God’s plan gives us hope. - To King Herod, Jesus was a threat - To His Family, Jesus was familiar. - To His Disciples, Jesus was anti-climatic. - To the Pharisees, Jesus was a revolutionary. - To Pilate, Jesus was an inconvenient truth.
God’s plan gives us hope. Isaiah 9:6-7 (ESV) “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this."
We all have the same amount of time each day. Consequently, it is critical that we steward that time wisely. When we steward our time properly, we make room to steward our influence in the lives of people around us. Matthew 6:19-21 (ESV) 19 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, 20 but lay for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. ”

When we steward our time properly, we make room to steward our influence in the lives of people around us. Psalm 90:12 (ESV) 12 “So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.
The Kingdom of God can be described as the realm where God reigns supreme, and Jesus is the King. In this kingdom, God’s authority is recognized, and his will is obeyed. In this week’s message, we learned that Jesus paired the revelation of Himself as the Christ with the first mention and start of the church. The Church is a group of people united by faith in the gospel. Matthew 16:13–17 (ESV) 13 Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” 14 And they said, “Some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” 15 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” 16 Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17 And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.

OUR MISSION IS TO BUILD CHRIST-CENTERED COMMUNITIES THAT HELP PEOPLE KNOW GOD, GROW IN CHRIST, AND GO IN THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT UNTIL JESUS RETURNS.
- Matthew 5:10 (ESV) ““Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. How do we respond to persecution? - Prioritize Jesus above anyone else - Speak to people out of love - Live righteously - Suffer well - Rejoice and be glad
Matthew 5:9 (ESV) “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God."
