The story of Easter, when we truly believe it, should change everything about us. Unfortunately for many, it's just a word we say. What would it take for us to truly believe that He is Risen?

The Israelites were looking for a political superpower. They received a servant on a dinky donkey. Who'd have thought this would be the King they needed, if not the one they wanted.

It may not be Easter yet but we're going to celebrate it anyway. The resurrection changes everything about how we see and do life.

We are called to worship God all the time because he is always worthy of our all the time praise.

Paul shows how Adam and Jesus are similar but polar opposites. One brought sin into the world the other redeemed the world from sin. One brought destruction and division, the other brought restoration and reunification.

God creates a succession plan for when Moses dies. Here we see that God prepares Joshua for this very task. We won't be reading the final 3 chapters of Deuteronomy but in them you'll see blessings Moses speaks over the tribes and then his final blessing and death. All in all God is in charge and leads his people forward.

Moses shares that when we follow God, when we turn from our ways and follow God's commands, we'll find a new way of understanding life and experience the promises of God in a tangible way.

Paul reminds us in this chapter that we should be able to find joy even in the midst of our sufferings because we know that God is still in control even when life seems out of control.

If you're following the reading plan in the app for LW, we're off a little bit. We'll catch up in a couple days.
