Ephesians 2:11:22 (11) Therefore remember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh, called “the uncircumcision” by what is called the circumcision, which is made in the flesh by hands– (12) remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. (13) But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. (14) For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility (15) by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, (16) and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility. Message by Paul Mermilliod. Big Truth: Jesus Followers Are Called To Be Faithful Saints Big Ideas: Faithful saints are called according to His purpose. Faithful saints walk according to His calling. The calling and walking of faithful saints are fueled by grace and peace. _________ Know: Paul wrote this letter to remind the church at Ephesus of the gospel and encourage them to live accordingly. This week, read through the whole book of Ephesians. Do: Be purposed to study and be transformed by God’s Word in 2024. Invite someone to take a next step in following Jesus alongside you. Feel: God has given us grace and peace. Respond in thanksgiving. Want: Long to live as a faithful saint in Christ. Don’t be satisfied to stay where you are; be diligent to grow in maturity.

Philippians 3:12–4:1 [12] Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. [13] Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, [14] I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. [15] Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal that also to you. [16] Only let us hold true to what we have attained. [17] Brothers, join in imitating me, and keep your eyes on those who walk according to the example you have in us.
