For our penultimate episode of the year, Max returns to Living Legends while our own living legends find you some winners at Caulfield and the Group 1 Winterbottom Stakes in Perth! So tune in for plenty of winners and plenty of laughs on everybody's favourite racing show, Three Wide, No Cover.
With the finish line in sight on what has been another amazing Spring Carnival, it's time to head West and switch our focus to the Group 1 Railway Stakes. It’s Thousand Guineas Day this weekend, as the best three-year-old fillies compete in the time-honoured race. Can Skybird extend her picket fence? The money has been strong for the sprinters in the Sir Rupert Clarke, but the team are split as to whose hitting their peak and who is tapering off. All that, plus part two of Max’s epic trip to Adelaide… and maybe the winner’s enclosure. Around The Country, Through The Roof and Max’s Quiz have been flying and continue their strong runs.

So for all the best racing intel ahead of one of the best racing weekends on a calendar, stop reading this nonsense and press flippin' play!
Laz was a late-out this week, after travel turmoil hit Sydney airport. Cramming his size 14 feet into the Larry's size 11s, however is Felix Von Hofe. It's fair the say the ensuing show was somewhat on the loose side. However, the team did manage to summon a modicum of professionalism, and preview the biggest races at Flemington this week. The team analyse a sneaky-loaded Turnbull Stakes field, before Larry brings his late news via Zoom. The panel take a look at the Gilgai, where Star Patrol looks to be the one to beat according to Grace and Nic. An open Edward Manifold sees the team divided -- with everyone finding their own fave, before the team alight on a long-odds runner in the Edward Manifold. All that and a whole heap more in 48 minutes of abject chaos, pretending to be a horse racing show.

Three Wide, is back, and everyone know this baby always performs second up. The team have the Waterhouse and Both mail on Alligator Blood, Grace gets brought down to Earth after the team detect a hint of hubris as she discusses yet another Group 1 win for Mr Brightside. And things go from bad to worse for Princess Grace, after her attitude to losing somewhat sours the quiz. SD face holes come into question, yet again and the team dish out, what are sure to be a bunch of decent tips.
Spring is springing and the good horses are back! And so is the greatest horse racing show in the history human civilisation! TWNC is going for a richly deserved spell following a mammoth campaign, and the team are looking to go out in winning fashion. After a mammoth tipping performance last week, the pressure is on. Nic has got his eye in north of the border, and is keen on a non-Aussie runner in the King Stand. Max and SD have their last Darebet of the year, and the team conclude Max's Quiz, with everything hanging in the balance.
It's Australasian Oaks Day, and the team are up and about -- in Nic's case, probably too up and about after the great man got into a bit of a fracas in his local watering hole, and is thence sporting a lovely shiner. Grace returns from wherever it was Grace was, we'd assume somewhere posh and exclusive. Max lost last week's Darebet and SD's challenge was the most embarrassing yet... All that plus all the best racing intel you could need.
Nic The Cashman Ashman is baaaack! And the great man is going from the frying pan into the fire -- stepping into the impeccably well-heeled shoes of Grace Ramage to host the show. Felix Von Hofe is back as well, giddy from his success last week after tipping a $40 place on Saturday Contenders. The team deep dive into all the best racing across the nation -- and, if Ashman can have a positive week, the team might actually end the season with all four tipsters well in the green. It's another thrilling episode of TWNC.
With Nic continuing his recovery (get well Cashman!) Josh TWNC ROI Champion 2023 Jenkins returns to the show and this time he's even done us the honour of turning up without any facial contusions! The team deep dive into all the biggest races across the country this weekend, including the South Australia Derby, the return of White Marlin, who will surely be keen to revenge his Thursday-at-Pakenham ignominy. It's Sangster Stakes Day, and the team are... well, not exactly up and about. The 'Bool has taken its toll on the panel; so much so that JJ is late call-up for SD. The big man had a great tipping performance in his late time out, and will be looking to go back-to-back as the show ventures off around Australia to preview all the biggest races across the weekend. Max reports back from The Bool, SD still manages to make an appearance and so does an erstwhile TWNC panel member, Horses For Courses very own Felix Von Hofe. All that, and a whole heap more on a genuinely hilarious episode of Three Wide, No Cover.
It's been an extraordinarily difficult week for the racing community following the tragic passing of Dean Holland in a race fall at Donald. The team begin this week's show by reflecting on Dean's immense contribution to racing and seek to add to the support the industry has provided to Dean's love ones. The team then preview the Australasian Oaks and The Chairman's from Morphettville, before heading to Sandown to preview the best races on the card.

This week we find out what happened in Chelmsworth, ponder the pronunciation of guineas, Max makes a false start on the Quiz and we spend a little time getting to know SD better and finding out why J. Smit rates his book so highly. All that, plus all your usual faves, Around The Country, The TWNC Quiz and more!
The technical word for the scale of racing punters will take in this weekend, we're lead to understand is: "MAHOOSIVE". And with that entirely fictive word ringing in your ears (and indeed your eyes) -- we're compelled to break the news that our esteemed panel of racing's great, good and mediocre is running at 50% of its usual capacity. But fear not, punters -- The Great Josh Jenkins has stepped into the breach. And while technically only one man, he's certainly man enough to replace SD and Max who are on Quokka and Gather Round duties. The team preview all the racing from Sydney before heading to WA to take a look at stellar field in The Quokka. All that, plus all your usual faves, Around The Country, The TWNC Quiz and more.
It's the second weekend of Championships racing in Sydney and a big day for a Melbourne Cup favourite in Melbourne -- and we've got the right team to preview all the action. Grace puts SD in his place after he doles out an unofficial 'good boy', Max and Simmo go on a boys trip to Shopping Town and Nic's ROI for the season hits the green after he tipped Militarise at $42 last week. SOMETHING! So for all that, and whole heap more racing fun, sit back, relax and watch T! W! N! C!
It’s the first day of the championships at Royal Randwick and we take a good long look at the main events! We delve into the card and take a look at the Doncaster, T.J. Smith, Aus Derby and the Inglis Sires, before a quick skwiz at the Bendigo Mile. It’s going to be a shootout at the Mile between Alligator Blood, Fangirl, Zougotcha and Mr B. (without Grace’s backing). We pay tribute to the untimely departed I’m Thunderstruck, who will be sorely missed. Max talks shop with the Hayes boys, Nic goes through the roof with Airman, and SD performs a magic trick! All that - and much much more - on another bumper episode of T. W. N. C.
It's Australian Cup Day and the wheels are officially, verifiably, certifiably OFF! After his prophetic tipping of Dubai Honour last week, SD is up and or about. It's the Little Gladiator of The Turf's birthday - and he's coming in hotter than a spicy corn chip (more on that later). All that - and unfathomably more - on a thrilling episode of T. W. N. C.
It's Golden Slipper Day! The biggest raceday of the year so far. With no less than five group ones taking place at Rosehill. The team however, start south of the border, previewing a moutherwatering All Star Mile from Moonee Valley. Before Grace reveals a very special talent which might just persuade you as to Gentleman Roy's chances this weekend.
We’re at HQ this weekend for Lightning Stakes Day! Last week Grace and SD were seeing them like beachballs through binoculars — let’s hope their form continues. Nic has actually made it to the studio this week, so let’s hope that helps him return to the winners enclosure. The team dig into the CS Hayes, The Vanity as well, before heading north to check out The Hobartville at Rosehill. Max has got a great opportunity for punters looking for an affordable way into horse ownership. But before all that SD pays tribute to one of the titans of the racing industry, Deane Lester, who sadly passed away overnight.
THREE! WIDE! NO! COVER! IS! BACK! SD is back! Grace is back! Max is back! Nic is... missing? What was set to be a normal (albeit excellent) episode of everyone's favourite racing magazine show, has all of a sudden turned into a race against time, as Nic The Cashman Ashman, desperately tries to arrive at the studio to at least film one segment. Will he make it? Meanwhile, the panel get stuck into an unfathomably huge weekend of racing.
