Welcome to episode 206 of the Löw Tide Böyz - A Swimrun Podcast!
We’ve got a great episode for everyone this week. Joining us to talk through what the ultimate Swimrun training camp looks like is Purple Patch coach, frequent guest of the show and our friend, Coach John Stevens. We covered a lot of ground with this one and we can’t wait to share it with all of you.
But first…
Training Update
We’re still not training but we’re not “not” training, if you know what we mean.
Shoutout
This week we’re shouting out our recent Bay Area visitors Liz (½ of Team #BatmansParents) and Jarett (½ of Team MamaaBoyz.) It was great to hang out and get a city run in.
Feats of Endurance
This week’s winner is Steve Henn. He posted a sporty 30km trail run over the weekend that included some innocent trespassing and aptly titled it, “Ticket Good for One Ride Only.” A strong contender for Stava title of the year!
Make sure to sign up for our LTBz Strava Club and join Swimrunners from around the world as they train for stuff.
Show Business
Voting for Swimrun.com’s Second Annual Awards are open. Head over to their website to submit your choices for the best Swimrun in Portugal, your favorite Swimrun socks, and other cool categories. Voting is open through the end of the year!
The Ultimate Swimrun Training Camp w/Coach John Stevens
It was great to get John back on the show. In this conversation we broke down the difference between a camp and a training weekend, the key elements for maximizing the training opportunity, shared what a Swimrun training camp could look like, and so much more. This one really got into the weeds and we’re here for it!
Enjoy!

That’s it for this week’s show.
