The No. 7 Texas Longhorns are seemingly in control of their own destiny for a spot in the Big 12 Championship and presumably a chance at their first berth in the College Football Playoff.

The only thing that stands in their way is the four teams remaining on their schedule, starting with the Kansas State Wildcats, who are coming off two dominant performances.
