Dribble through doubt. Because what if, instead of evading it, you choose to confront self-doubt head-on, dribbling through its defenses with unwavering determination and courage? How would you be able to tackle what's right in front of you? When would you be less likely to believe the lies you tell yourself? Renowned author and motivational speaker, Nick Vujicic, once said, "It's a lie to think you're not good enough. It's a lie to think you're not worth anything." Self-doubt is often based on misconceptions and falsehoods you tell yourself. It is a barrier constructed by your own mind, waiting to be dismantled through introspection and action. So get out of your own way. Drop the excuses. Dribble through doubt. You got this! The K.I.S.S. ~ Dribble through doubt! In the words of self-help author, Louise Hay, "Remember, you have been criticizing yourself for years and it hasn't worked. Try approving of yourself and see what happens." Break free from the self-critism, that self-doubt that is crippling you. Shift your mindset toward compassion, and empower yourself to reach for your dreams. Nothing is impossible. Unless you set up the roadblocks that keep you stumbling. Kristianne Wargo aptly puts it, "Self-doubt is a cage we've built with our own hands. Yet, we hold the key to freedom when we dismantle the cage with thoughts that serve." Dribble through doubt. And even if you find it hanging out with you, challenge its validity. "You only make real in your mind what you believe." ~ Kristianne Wargo As you navigate the intricate dance between your aspirations and insecurities, remember that self-doubt is not a permanent fixture but a transient shadow that can be dispelled by the light of your determination. Dribble through doubt. Block it with resilience and a deeper belief that you can do anything you set your mind to. In the wise words of Eleanor Roosevelt, "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent." Reclaim your presence and create your now! "Be present. Be incredible. Have you ever noticed how easily negative thoughts can take root in your mind? You go from being on top of your game to wallowing in misery and what-ifs. How will your thoughts fail you? How you shoot those thoughts in your head determines whether or not you will propel yourself to success or slam you into the wall of another failure. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT https://createyournow.mn.co. https://createyournow.mn.co With March Madness in full swing, the Sweet 16 has been decided. Did your teams make it? But you know, it didn't come with ease. The players had to overcome many obstacles, especially the ones between their ears. Lots of decisions are made on the court. And the game moves so swiftly that if you linger too long on one thought, you lose the advantage. You get left behind. Research shows that our brains have a negativity bias, meaning we tend to remember and focus more on negative experiences rather than positive ones. I'm sure you've found yourself a time or two swimming with negative thoughts that won't go away. And for a moment, it's not a big deal. It's like swimming in paradise, all too familiar. But then, the water (those thoughts) get heavier and begin to weigh you down. Now, you're no longer in paradise, but struggling in sinking sand. What is that inner dialogue that you have with yourself every day? What keeps coming back up for you-- at home, at work, at play? Because you do realize that your thoughts control your day, especially your reactions. Right? It would be great if you would respond, but at the time, you didn't have it together, and all you felt was the pressure to react. There you go, spiraling downhill. __ __ Negative self-talk can spiral into self-doubt, leading to a lack of confidence and poor performance. "Your thoughts can become your worst enemy if you allow them to control your actions," says sports psychologist Dr. Sarah Johnson. But how can you take control of your thoughts and prevent them from sabotaging your success? How do you rise above the mental attack within yourself, within your mind? How will you overcome the thoughts so your thoughts don't overcome you? Establish your "thought clock"! The K.I.S.S. ~ Establish your "thought clock"! This reminds me of the shot clock for basketball. The shot clock is a crucial component of the game that ensures fast-paced and exciting gameplay. So let's take our Thought Madness a little further and impose the Thought Clock, a shot clock for your thoughts to keep your game of life moving in the right direction. 1. Prevent Stalling - Don't run out your time on kicking your negative thoughts to the curb. It's time those negative thoughts are put in their place, allowing for more skillful and intentional thoughts to shine through, the positive ones that are a gamechanger. When you prevent stalling, you can move faster than the negative thoughts. 2. Promote Fairness - Unfortunately, negative thoughts always have the upper hand. This changes when you have the Thought Clock. Imagine if you gave as much time to positive thoughts as you do negative thoughts, how would that influence the outcome? This element of fairness gives you permission to shut down what isn't working for you. Go back and look at your Thought Madness Bracket. Which teams of thoughts are ahead? Hopefully, you are giving yourself a chance to walk your miles of greatness by more positive thoughts winning. Kristianne Wargo beautifully puts it, "Your thoughts are the seeds you plant in the garden of your mind – choose wisely." As basketball coach Phil Jackson once said, "The mind is the most important muscle in the body. It's not about what you can do, but what your mind allows you to do." 3. Increase Action - Take A.I.M.! Action ignites motivation! ~ Kristianne Wargo It's all about offensive skill, taking shots within a reasonable amount of time. You have got to silence the thoughts that weigh you down and reframe the thoughts that are in hiding. If you don't use the skills you have, the talents and gifts you possess, how will that help you in the game of life. Get back on the court and decide that great things are possible. As renowned basketball player Michael Jordan said, "You must expect great things of yourself before you can do them." You must challenge yourself to be a participant in your thoughts. If you want to be ALL IN in the game of your life, you have got to use the Thought Clock, it's like the shot clock. Did you know the shot clock is a fundamental rule in basketball that enhances the competitiveness and excitement of the sport by promoting active gameplay, preventing stalling tactics, and ensuring a fair and dynamic playing field. "Don't let your season end with negative thoughts. Fight for you!" ~ Kristianne Wargo Your thoughts can be powerful allies or formidable opponents. Who do you want to win every day? Take your thoughts captive. Remember, as Kristianne Wargo reminds us, "Your thoughts create your now – choose them wisely." "Be present. Be incredible. As Jesus Christ entered Jerusalem on that fateful day amidst cries of "Hosanna in the highest," He did so with a profound understanding of what lay ahead. Triumphs to tribulations; a blessing in disguise for you and me. Despite the jubilant reception and praises of the crowd, Jesus knew that within the walls of the city, betrayal, suffering, and the ultimate sacrifice awaited Him. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT https://createyournow.mn.co. https://createyournow.mn.co While filled with adoration, these accolades could not shield Jesus from the imminent trial of his faith and the fulfillment of his ultimate purpose. With unwavering resolve and unwavering faith, Jesus moved forward, embracing his destiny even as it led him to the city where he would be betrayed by one of his own. His entry into Jerusalem symbolized the paradox of triumph and tribulation, as the cries of "Hosanna" mingled with the shadows of the cross that awaited Him. Do you ever feel like you have reached the pinnacle, only to find a deeper plunge into the unknown on the other side? The K.I.S.S. ~ A blessing in disguise! Life has a way of twisting and turning, from trials and tribulations to triumphs. And then, it repeats itself again. However, the key I noticed was that Jesus had faith. He knew His purpose and was more than willing to follow through. Would you be willing to do the same? Are you willing to do the same? In the face of impending betrayal, Jesus' courage and conviction shone brightly, illuminating the path for all who would follow. His journey into Jerusalem serves as a poignant reminder that true strength lies not in avoiding adversity, but in facing it head-on with steadfast faith and unwavering purpose. As we contemplate Jesus's entry into the city where betrayal awaited Him, let us be inspired by his example of enduring faith and sacrificial love. May we carry the spirit of "Hosanna in the highest" in our hearts, acknowledging that even in the darkest moments, the light of redemption and salvation shines brightest. "Be present. Be incredible. So long as your past is in the past, you can be present in your marriage. However, many couples struggle because the past is still present. You must stop the madness in your marriage if you want to live happily ever after. The lingering remnants of our past can cast a long shadow over the present, shaping our relationships in unexpected ways. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT https://createyournow.mn.co. https://createyournow.mn.co Unaddressed traumas, unresolved conflicts, and buried emotions can morph into a looming Mount Everest. As Kristianne Wargo wisely puts it, "The trash of your past needs to be taken out or it becomes an overwhelming mountain of C.R.A.P. It stinks, it smells, it shackles the heart." In order to break free from the chains of the past and pave the way for a thriving marriage, it is imperative to confront the buried burdens head-on. The K.I.S.S. ~ Confront the buried burdens head-on! If you choose to hide from the past, it will haunt you down and destroy your marriage. Put on your big girl panties! I know you have the courage to face your past. I understand it won't be easy and you might even uncover some things you didn't think was a big deal. But the key is to know and understand to the best of your ability, so you can move forward with confidence that your past is simply that-- your past! Here are three actionable steps that spouses can take to navigate the complexities of their past and cultivate a healthier present for their marriage: 1. Acknowledge and Accept the Past Self-awareness serves as the first step towards healing. Recognize the impact of past traumas, generational patterns, and unresolved conflicts on your present behavior and relationships. You can't heal what you don't acknowledge. Stop using the excuse of not knowing, and learn what has been holding you back in your past. By confronting those shadows with honesty and vulnerability, you make a way to reach the freedom to love deeper. 2. Break the Old Patterns A lot of what we carry with us comes from our past experiences, which are fueled by generational patterns. Our parents and grandparents and everyone in between have an influence on how we lead our lives. However, there comes a point in life where we have to look at what is good for us as an individual and then as a couple. By breaking free from the cycle of generational sins, you create space for personal growth and relational harmony. Author Haruki Murakami, "If you can't understand it without an explanation, you can't understand it with an explanation." In other words, just because it made sense in the past doesn't mean it is right for you in the present. 3. Forgive to Let Go Forgiveness is a gift you give yourself first. When you forgive, you are giving away what is burying your heart deep in the dungeon of despair. And then, it's that forgiveness that sweeps away the dust bunnies in the nooks and crannies that steals away your courage to heal from the hurts. You can heal, but you have to forgive to let go! As Kristianne Wargo aptly states, "At some point, you have to face your past so you can be present today." CHALLENGE: How have you dealt with your past? Or have you? By embarking on this journey of self-discovery, forgiveness, and growth, spouses can unravel the shackles of the past and forge a path toward a more resilient and genuine marriage. In the timeless words of Maya Angelou, "History, despite its wrenching pain, cannot be unlived, but if faced with courage, need not be lived again." Some things need not be repeated; they must be left in the past and dealt with. Stop the madness in your marriage! "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #RelationshipBuilders #CreateYourNow #LoveAndMarriage 🎥 Karen Kingsbury Productions Presents Someone Like You.movie https://someonelikeyou.movie 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Trust and respect are built not only on our actions but also on our verbal interactions with our children. Parents, your words carry weight. Every word you utter shapes your child's perceptions and self-esteem. Mom (and Dad)-- your words hold immense power! Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT https://createyournow.mn.co. https://createyournow.mn.co In moments of frustration or inattention, we may inadvertently speak words that hurt rather than heal. It's crucial to be mindful of the language we use with our children. So let me ask you-- how do you speak to your child? What words do you find yourself repeating? In what circumstances do you use certain words? "Do not underestimate the impact your words have on your child's emotional well-being," says Child Psychologist, Dr. Sarah Johnson. "Words have the power to build or break a child's self-esteem and confidence." If you want to build your child up, build a foundation of trustworthy words. The K.I.S.S. ~ Build a foundation of trustworthy words! Consider your words seeds that will bloom and blossom when given the right fertilizer, the circumstances in which they are used. In order to foster positive communication with our children, here are three steps parents can take to improve their language: 1. Practice Active Listening: Instead of simply issuing commands or criticisms, take the time to actively listen to your child's thoughts and feelings. Ask open-ended questions to encourage dialogue and show genuine interest in their responses. For example, instead of saying, "Clean your room now!" try asking, "How was your day? What made you feel happy or sad today?" Parenting coach, Emma Roberts emphasizes, "Active listening conveys respect for your child's perspective and fosters a sense of understanding and empathy." 2. Use Positive Affirmations: Incorporate positive affirmations into your daily interactions with your child. Offer words of encouragement and praise for their efforts and achievements. Instead of focusing on shortcomings, highlight their strengths and potential. For instance, say, "I am proud of how hard you worked on that project" or "You are so creative and thoughtful." Parenting author, Mark Smith shares, "Positive affirmations help nurture a child's self-confidence and motivate them to strive for success." 3. Practice Patience and Empathy: In moments of frustration or anger, take a pause before responding to your child. Consider their feelings and perspective before reacting impulsively. Show empathy by acknowledging their emotions and validating their experience. Instead of dismissing their concerns, offer comforting words and reassurance. For example, say, "I understand that you are upset. Let's talk about why you feel that way." Parenting educator, Maria Garcia advocates, "Practicing patience and empathy creates a safe and supportive environment for your child to express themselves openly." Kristianne Wargo aptly says, "Our words shape our children's world. Let's choose them wisely and kindly." Remember, the way we speak to our children can have a lasting impact on their self-esteem and emotional well-being. Let's strive to choose our words thoughtfully and nurture a positive and trusting relationship with our little ones. "Be present. Be incredible. Are you tired of constantly pushing tasks to the back burner? Overwhelmed by the mountain of work staring you in the face? It's time to stop procrastinating and roll up your sleeves. Tackle what needs to be done now. Create your now! Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT https://createyournow.mn.co. https://createyournow.mn.co In the words of best-selling author Karen Lamb, "A year from now you may wish you had started today." This sentiment rings true for many of us. That project you keep delaying, that dream you haven't pursued – they won't accomplish themselves. It's up to you to take the first step. Procrastination often stems from fear of failure or perfectionism. However, as author and researcher Brené Brown advises, "What we know matters, but who we are matters more." It's not about getting everything right the first time; it's about showing up and putting in the effort. Now is the time to heed the advice of motivational speaker Les Brown, who famously said, "Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars." By taking action and confronting the tasks at hand, you open yourself up to new possibilities and opportunities. The K.I.S.S. ~ Roll up your sleeves! In the words of Kristianne Wargo, "Don't wait for the perfect moment. Take the moment and make it perfect." Perfection is an illusion. Progress, however, is real. It's about making small steps each day towards your goals. So, stop making excuses. Excuses only serve to hold you back and limit your potential. Instead, face your challenges head-on with determination and grit. You have the strength within you to accomplish great things – but only if you take that first crucial step. Remember, as American author Napoleon Hill once said, "The starting point of all achievement is desire." What do you desire? What are you willing to work for? The answers lie within you. It's time to seize the day, to embrace the tasks in front of you with confidence and determination. Don't let procrastination rob you of your potential. Take that first step today and watch as doors begin to open, opportunities arise, and your dreams inch closer to reality. "Be present. Be incredible. Too often, we set ourselves up for failure regarding healthy living. We think it's all-or-nothing. We put off what matters today to get a second chance tomorrow. Cast away your second thoughts and live in freedom. In the pursuit of a healthy lifestyle, the pressure to go all in or nothing can often lead to feelings of failure and discouragement. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT https://createyournow.mn.co. https://createyournow.mn.co However, embracing a perspective of living in the moment can empower individuals to make positive choices for their health and well-being each day. The K.I.S.S. ~ Eradicate the all-or-nothing attitude! The key is to live in freedom. Boundaries are one thing, but rigidity is something else. Here are three simple strategies to eradicate the struggles of the all-or-nothing mentality and cultivate a mindset of freedom in your healthy living journey: 1. Embrace Mindful Eating: Instead of rigid diet plans or strict meal restrictions, focus on practicing mindful eating. Allow yourself to fully enjoy and savor each bite of your meals, paying attention to your body's hunger and fullness cues. As health coach Megan Roosevelt wisely said, "Eating mindfully is about listening to your body, nourishing yourself, and enjoying the experience of eating without judgment." 2. Prioritize Movement You Love: Exercise shouldn't feel like a punishment or obligation. Find physical activities that bring you joy and make you feel good. Whether it's dancing, hiking, or practicing yoga, moving your body in ways that you genuinely enjoy can lead to sustainable habits. As fitness expert Gabby Reece said, "Movement is a celebration of what your body can do, not a punishment for what you ate." 3. Practice Self-Compassion: Be kind to yourself on your journey to a healthy lifestyle. Remember that progress is not always linear, and setbacks are a natural part of growth. Offer yourself the same compassion and encouragement you would give a friend facing a challenge. As Kristianne Wargo astutely said, "In the pursuit of wellness, remember to be kind to yourself. Progress is progress, no matter how small." By incorporating these strategies into your daily routine, you can break free from the all-or-nothing mentality and embrace a lifestyle of freedom and balance. Remember, each small step you take towards better health is a victory in itself. "Be present. Be incredible. Sometimes, we hide from what needs to happen today, hoping we won't have to face it tomorrow. But tomorrow becomes today. So if you want to get ahead of what you don't want, just do the thing. Get it out of the way and expand your day! There is always something greater on the horizon. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT https://createyournow.mn.co. https://createyournow.mn.co You've probably found yourself putting off a task, a conversation, or a decision, hoping that somehow it will resolve itself miraculously by the time tomorrow comes around? We often fall into that trap of procrastination, delaying the inevitable, only to find that tomorrow has arrived, and the task still looms before us. In the words of renowned motivational speaker, Tony Robbins, "The only impossible journey is the one you never begin." How true this is in our daily lives. By avoiding facing the challenges and responsibilities of today, we only set ourselves up for a cycle of perpetual delay and missed opportunities. As Kristianne Wargo wisely points out, "Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage." The K.I.S.S. ~ Just do the thing! Each time you choose to tackle the task at hand, no matter how daunting it may seem, you are expanding your capacity for growth and success. Instead of allowing fear and uncertainty to hold you back, taking that first step propels you forward into a realm of endless possibilities. Procrastination not only hinders your progress, but also weighs heavily on your mind, draining your energy and enthusiasm. By simply mustering the courage to "just do the thing," you free yourself from the shackles of indecision and open up a world of newfound clarity and purpose. In the words of renowned author Karen Lamb, "A year from now you may wish you had started today." Let this serve as a gentle reminder that the time to act is always now. Create your now! Embrace each challenge as an opportunity for growth, and watch as your courage and determination propel you toward a brighter future. As Kristianne Wargo aptly puts it, "Today's actions pave the way for tomorrow's triumphs." So, take that first step, confront that looming task, and witness how seizing the day can lead to a life filled with endless possibilities and endless rewards. Just do the thing! "Be present. In the game of life, learning how to handle your thoughts can resemble a wild jump ball - chaotic, unpredictable, and up for grabs. Just like in basketball, controlling the jump ball of thoughts is essential to stay focused on your goals. Thought Madness Bracket: https://mb345.infusionsoft.app/app/form/request-thought-madness-bracket-podcastClick here to get your bracket! https://mb345.infusionsoft.app/app/form/request-thought-madness-bracket-podcast Controlling your thoughts is not just a matter of mental discipline; it is a crucial factor in determining the trajectory of your life. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT https://createyournow.mn.co. https://createyournow.mn.co Our thoughts shape our beliefs, attitudes, and actions, ultimately influencing the outcomes we manifest. Just as a basketball player's mindset can impact their performance on the court, your thoughts have the power to propel you towards success or hold you back from achieving your dreams. When your thoughts are scattered and unfocused, like a loose ball bouncing aimlessly on the court, your energy and efforts become diffused. This lack of mental clarity hinders your ability to make strategic decisions, stay motivated, and persevere through challenges. Without a firm grip on your thoughts, you risk being tossed around by external circumstances and internal doubts, derailing your progress and leaving your goals out of reach. However, if you're willing to master your thoughts, nothing is impossible! The K.I.S.S. ~ Master your thoughts! Conversely, mastering your thoughts is like mastering the game of basketball – it requires skill, practice, and resilience. By taking control of your thoughts and steering them in alignment with your aspirations, you gain a competitive edge in the arena of life. When your thoughts are harmonized with your goals and values, you are better equipped to make purposeful choices, maintain focus amidst distractions, and bounce back from setbacks with determination. Here are three strategies to help you juggle your thoughts effectively and keep your mind centered on what truly matters. 1. Fast Break to Mindfulness: When your thoughts are spinning out of control like a fast break, take a moment to ground yourself in mindfulness. Just like a basketball player who needs to slow down and focus on the next move, practice mindfulness techniques such as deep breathing or meditation to bring clarity to your mind. By being present in the moment, you can gain control over the flurry of thoughts vying for your attention. As author Eckhart Tolle once said: "Realize deeply that the present moment is all you have. Make the NOW the primary focus of your life." 2. Triple-Double Your Self-Talk: Just as a triple-double in basketball signifies a player excelling in multiple areas, aim to excel in managing your self-talk. Monitor the story playing in your mind and challenge negative or distracting thoughts that hinder your progress. Replace them with positive affirmations and empowering beliefs that align with your goals. By cultivating a winning mindset, you can steer your thoughts towards success. Psychologist Carol Dweck famously said: "The view you adopt for yourself profoundly affects the way you lead your life." 3. Full-Court Press Your Distractions: In the game of Thought Madness, distractions often act as defenders trying to steal your focus. Employ a full-court press strategy by identifying your main distractions and creating a plan to counter them. Whether it's setting boundaries with digital devices, organizing your workspace for optimal productivity, or prioritizing tasks effectively, take proactive steps to minimize distractions and keep your thoughts aligned with your objectives. "Take your thoughts captive to lead your mind into intentional action." ~ Kristianne Wargo Remember, just like a skilled basketball player controls the jump ball to their advantage, you can navigate your thoughts and steer them toward your desired destination. In essence, the mind is the playing field where your dreams take shape, and your thoughts are the players that either work for or against you. By honing your mental game, cultivating a positive mindset, and consciously directing your thoughts toward what you desire, you set yourself up for success. Just as a basketball team relies on coordinated efforts and strategic plays to secure victory, your thoughts, when harnessed and disciplined, can lead you toward realizing your goals and dreams. “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you." ~ Matthew 5:11-12 How connected are you to God? And some use it to drink more, wear more green, and as an excuse to have a party. But there is so much more to know about St. Patrick, some from his biography and others from what was passed down through the centuries. In the heart of ancient Ireland, amidst the lush green countryside where legends and faith intertwined, there lived a man known as St. Patrick. His story is not just a tale of distant times but a timeless journey of resilience, belief, and the profound impact one individual can have on the world around them. Born Maewyn Succat in Roman Britain, St. Patrick's life took a fateful turn when he was captured by Irish pirates and sold into slavery in the mystical lands of Ireland. In the shadows of hardship and solitude, he found solace in his unwavering faith, a flickering light amidst the darkness. It was in those moments of isolation that he heard a divine call, a whisper from God beckoning him to escape and carry the torch of Christianity across the Irish hills and valleys. Returning to his homeland, now a man of God, St. Patrick embarked on a mission that would shape the course of Irish history forever. Armed with unwavering conviction and an open heart, he traversed the rugged landscapes of Ireland, preaching the Gospel and baptizing thousands in the name of Christ. His teachings transcended the boundaries of language and culture, resonating with the souls of the Irish people and kindling a flame of faith that would burn brightly for centuries to come. In the words of St. Patrick himself, "I bind unto myself today the power of God to guide me, the might of God to uphold me, the wisdom of God to teach me." These words echo through the ages as a timeless reminder of the strength that comes from divine grace and the wisdom that springs from a heart attuned to God's will. The K.I.S.S. ~ Rejoice and be glad! How connected are you to God? Are you one who can honestly say that you are putting Him first in your life? Now, of course, this is between you and God. This is not about pointing fingers or declaring someone is more connected to God than someone else. This is personal! And that's how God wants it. He desires to be personal with you in everything that you do. As we reflect on the life and legacy of St. Patrick, draw strength from his example of perseverance and dedication. His life serves as a reminder that in the face of adversity, you can find courage and purpose through your faith. Embrace the challenges that lie before you with courage and faith, knowing that you can overcome any obstacles in your path with God's guidance. I want you to ponder this on St. Patrick's Day. The famous prayer known as "St. Patrick's Breastplate" or "The Lorica of St. Patrick." The full verse goes as follows: "Christ beside me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ within me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ on my right, Christ on my left, Christ when I lie down, Christ when I sit down, Christ when I arise, Christ in the heart of every man who thinks of me, Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of me, Christ in every eye that sees me, Christ in every ear that hears me." This powerful prayer reflects St. Patrick's deep faith in Christ's presence and protection in every aspect of his life, guiding him through challenges and triumphs on his mission to spread Christianity in Ireland. The words embody a sense of divine companionship and spiritual fortitude that continues to resonate with believers across the centuries. How connected are you to God? Who do you see in your reflection? God or yourself? "Christ beside me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ within me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me....." No matter what you face, are you able to rejoice and be glad? That answer is a reflection of God's presence in your life. Go in peace. "Be present. Be incredible. In the garden of marriage, love is the seed that must be nurtured to ensure its continual growth. For those seeking to elevate their union to greater heights, this season presents an opportunity of delight – the more love grows. How bad do you want a great marriage? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT https://createyournow.mn.co. https://createyournow.mn.co How bad do you want a great marriage? How great is your marriage? Are you enjoying life together? Are you really better together? Or you might be fighting more than loving. "Love is a verb requiring a decision to put the action in motion to unconditionally serve another soul." ~ Kristianne Wargo The K.I.S.S. ~ Till the soil! Here are three essential steps to cultivate and grow love in your marriage: 1. What Needs to Go? Let go of expectations and embrace acceptance. Unrealistic expectations can often become the bane of relationships. As Dr. Wayne Dyer once said, "Peace is the result of retraining your mind to process life as it is, rather than as you think it should be." By shedding expectations and accepting your partner for who they are, you can pave the way for mutual understanding and appreciation. "Love flourishes in the soil of acceptance." ~ Kristianne Wargo 2. What Needs to Stay? Cultivate open and honest communication. Communication is the lifeline of any successful marriage. It is imperative to create a safe space for both partners to express their thoughts, feelings, and concerns openly. Relationship expert John Gottman says, "In an emotionally connected relationship, your vulnerability is rewarded with care, affection, and acceptance." "True love listens before it speaks." ~ Kristianne Wargo 3. What Needs to Grow? Nurture shared experiences and prioritize quality time together. Building a reservoir of memorable moments strengthens the bond between partners. Whether it's a romantic dinner date or a weekend getaway, investing in your relationship sets the foundation for a love that blossoms over time. In the words of author Mignon McLaughlin, "A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person." As you embark on this journey to grow your love this season, remember that progress takes time and dedication. By tending to the roots of your relationship and cultivating a nurturing environment, your love will undoubtedly flourish into something more profound and enduring. Now, take a moment and sow the seeds of love in your marriage, for as Kristianne Wargo reminds us, "Love is a garden that requires constant care and attention." **The More Love Grows** In the season of Spring, where raindrops fall, And winds of change whisper their sweet call, Love blossoms like buds on a flowering tree, In the heart of you and me. Nurtured by the gentle touch of care, Love flourishes beyond compare, Like petals dancing in the breeze, Entwined in a bond that never sees. Through storms we weather, hand in hand, Love grows deeper, rooted in the land, Of trust and understanding, ever true, In the garden of us, love anew. So let the rain of challenges pour, For in love's garden, we seek more, A layer of beauty to grace our souls, As the seasons change and love unfolds. For in the garden where love is sown, It's in the nurturing that it's known, The more we tend, the more we see, Love's endless growth, eternally free. So let us tend to this love we share, With hearts open and souls laid bare, For in the cycle of life that ebbs and flows, We find the beauty in how love grows. In a society that often values individualism and self-interest, it can be challenging for parents to raise children who exhibit kindness and empathy toward others. How do you raise compassionate children in a self-centered world? As parents, we must instill these values early on and actively nurture them as our children grow. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT https://createyournow.mn.co. https://createyournow.mn.co Teaching kindness goes beyond just manners; it involves fostering a genuine concern for others and a willingness to help and support those in need. It's doing what the average person wouldn't do; going above and beyond. I have a great friend, mentor, coach, you name it, he's it-- But his goal this year is to give away $100 every day. And he is including his kiddos in that so they understand the message of kindness. We can impact the world we touch in a manner that is respectful and kind regardless of who stands in front of us. So what are you doing to teach your child kindness? Are you showing them with your own actions toward them? Or are you mean and fussy with people most of the time? It's important to examine ourselves before we attempt to instill behaviors in others, especially our children. As you consider how you want your child to act, be sure to consider how you act. You can teach an old dog new tricks. So start from the beginning. The K.I.S.S. ~ Start from the beginning! Too often, we lead with the idea that we have to do what we have been doing. We get stuck in our ways and continue down the same path. For your tree to grow, you have to prune it from the bottom up—that's caring for it from the foundation. There's a time for everything and a season for every activity (Ecclesiastes 3:1). 'Tis the season to prune and build a strong foundation for your child to serve in their unique capacity. Here are three specific strategies parents can implement to encourage kindness in their children and shape their understanding of what it truly means to be kind: 1. Imitate What You Want to See: Children learn through observation and imitation. By modeling acts of kindness and compassion in your own behavior, you are setting a powerful example for your children to follow. Whether it's helping a neighbor in need, volunteering in the community, or simply showing empathy toward others, your actions speak louder than words. As parenting expert Kristianne Wargo wisely noted, "Children are like sponges; they absorb the world around them. By embodying the values of kindness and compassion ourselves, we are teaching our children to do the same." 2. Teach Your Child to Ask, "How are you feeling?": Empathy is at the core of kindness. Parents can nurture empathy in their children by encouraging them to consider the feelings and perspectives of others. This can be done through open communication, discussing emotions, and actively listening to their thoughts and concerns. Children develop a stronger sense of empathy towards others by fostering an understanding of different experiences and promoting compassion. Research by the University of Wisconsin-Madison found that children who have been raised to be empathetic are more likely to engage in prosocial behaviors, such as sharing, helping, and cooperating with others. Cultivating empathy in children is a key ingredient in shaping their kindness towards others. 3. Create a Gratitude Jar: Gratitude and generosity are essential to kindness. Parents can cultivate these qualities in their children by practicing gratitude rituals, such as keeping a gratitude jar or journal for expressing thanks for acts of kindness. Encouraging children to give back to their community through volunteering or acts of generosity also reinforces the importance of caring for others. In the words of parenting author L.R. Knost, "It's not our job to toughen our children up to face a cruel and heartless world. It's our job to raise children who will make the world a little less cruel and heartless." By instilling values of gratitude and generosity, parents empower their children to make a positive impact on those around them. In conclusion, raising kind children in a self-centered world requires intentionality, consistency, and a dedication to nurturing qualities of empathy, compassion, and generosity. By implementing these strategies and fostering a culture of kindness in the home, parents can equip their children with the tools they need to navigate the complexities of the world with empathy and grace. Remember, as Kristianne Wargo wisely puts it, "Kindness begins at home, but its ripple effect can change the world." "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #ConfessionsOfAnUpsetMama #CreateYourNow #TodaysParent 🎥 Karen Kingsbury Productions Presents Someone Like You.movie https://someonelikeyou.movie 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? In the midst of life's chaos and uncertainties, the perfect path may seem elusive. But what if the key to success lies in embracing imperfection and navigating the journey with resilience and determination? Choose the imperfect path! Renowned author and motivational speaker Tony Robbins once aptly said, "Where focus goes, energy flows." Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT https://createyournow.mn.co. https://createyournow.mn.co This resonates deeply with the idea of choosing the imperfect path. By directing our focus towards our goals, even amidst imperfections and setbacks, we allow our energy to flow towards progress and growth. As Zig Ziglar wisely noted, "You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great." Taking that first step, no matter how imperfect or uncertain, propels us forward on our path to success. It's about embracing imperfection as part of the process and understanding that each small step contributes to the bigger picture. The K.I.S.S. ~ Choose the imperfect path! In the words of Kristianne Wargo, "The road to success is not a straight line; it's a passionate zigzag of failures and victories that leads to progress in the pursuit of your purpose." Choosing the imperfect path means accepting the ups and downs, the failures and successes, as integral parts of the journey towards realizing our dreams. To the weary soul struggling to keep their eyes open and focus on the main thing, remember that imperfection is not a roadblock but a stepping stone towards growth. Embrace the challenges, stay focused, and watch as your dreams manifest into reality. Your imperfections make you uniquely equipped to navigate the path to success with authenticity and purpose. So, choose the imperfect path with courage and determination. Embrace the journey, celebrate the victories, and grow through the failures. Success is not about perfection; it's about resilience, perseverance, and the willingness to choose the imperfect path toward your dreams. "Be present. Be incredible. We all know the saying, "You are what you eat," but have you ever stopped to think about how your body responds to the food you consume? So when your food smiles back, you are eating for your body. Your overall health and well-being can significantly impact your life and how you live it. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT https://createyournow.mn.co. https://createyournow.mn.co And when you eat, it's not just about filling your stomach; it's about nourishing your body from the inside out. What was the last food you put in your mouth? Was it fruits and vegetables? Oh, wait—maybe something processed in a box or wrapper. Or could you have drunk your calories with that sugary sweet nectar? We have to know what we're eating, when we're eating, and why we're eating if we want to impact our overall health. The K.I.S.S. ~ You are what you eat! Let's explore the concept of "When Your Food Smiles Back" and how you can discover what foods work best for your body. 1. Be Mindful of How You Feel Take note of how different foods make you feel after you eat them. Do you feel energized and satisfied, or do you experience bloating and fatigue? Paying attention to these signals can help you identify which foods your body thrives on. As nutritionist Mary Smith suggests, "Understanding the connection between what you eat and how you feel is key to eating for your body." 2. Keep a Food Journal Keeping a food journal can be a powerful tool in discovering what works for your body. Jot down what you eat each day and how you feel afterward. This practice can help you recognize patterns and pinpoint foods that may not agree with you. As health coach Sarah Johnson notes, "A food journal can provide valuable insights into your unique dietary needs and help you make informed choices." 3. Experiment with Different Foods Don't be afraid to step out of your culinary comfort zone and try new foods. Experimenting with a variety of fruits, vegetables, grains, and proteins can help you diversify your diet and uncover hidden gems that your body loves. According to chef and food writer Julia Adams, "Exploring different cuisines and ingredients can open up a world of possibilities for finding foods that truly nourish your body." "In the journey of health, the language of food speaks volumes when your body smiles back at you." - Kristianne Wargo Remember, eating for your body is not a one-size-fits-all approach. It's about listening to your body's cues and honoring its unique needs. By being mindful, keeping a food journal, and experimenting with different foods, you can unlock the secret to optimal health and vitality. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #WellnessWednesday #CreateYourNow #HealthAndWellness 🎥 Karen Kingsbury Productions Presents Someone Like You.movie https://someonelikeyou.movie 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? In a world where limitations often dictate our paths, there exists a pure essence of astonishment waiting to be unlocked within each of us. Dare to dream the unimagineable. Strive for the unattainable; that is where the magic lies. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT https://createyournow.mn.co. https://createyournow.mn.co Yet, how does one muster the audacity to transcend the borders of convention? How does one defy the odds stacked high against them and triumph in the face of adversity? The answer, my friend, lies not in the search for the possible but in the conviction that impossibility is merely a mirage. "The only limits that exist are the ones we allow to define us." - Kristianne Wargo Some may argue that the impossible is a notion crafted by the faint-hearted, a mantra of the disillusioned. Yet, amidst the cacophony of skepticism, there exists a symphony of believers, whispering tales of the extraordinary, stories of those who dared to chase the impossible and caught it by the tail. As Walt Disney once proclaimed, "It's kind of fun to do the impossible." A sentiment echoed in the hearts of dreamers, visionaries, and pioneers throughout history. For it is in the realm of the impossible that true innovation takes root, where the seeds of greatness are sown, watered by resilience, and nurtured by unwavering faith. The K.I.S.S. ~ Dare to dream the unimagineable! "The only way to discover the limits of the possible is to go beyond them into the impossible." - Arthur C. Clarke So, when the weight of doubt bears heavily upon your shoulders, when the whispers of naysayers cloud your vision, remember this: impossibility is but a construct of the mind, a barrier waiting to be shattered by the force of determination, by the power of belief. "As you think, so shall you become." - Bruce Lee In every corner, there exists a spark of greatness flickering within each of us, a flame waiting to be ignited by the winds of courage, fueled by the embers of perseverance. So, I beg you, do not shy away from the impossible, for within its shadow lies the light of endless possibilities waiting to be claimed by those audacious enough to reach for the stars. "In the end, we only regret the chances we didn't take." - Lewis Carroll Are you ready to make a choice for a chance to reach for the stars? Embrace the impossible, for it is in the pursuit of the unimaginable that you discover your truest self, your deepest passion, and your most profound purpose. Let your dreams be your guiding stars, your North in a sea of uncertainty, and remember: nothing is impossible to those who dare to believe. "The only limits that exist are the ones we allow to define us." - Kristianne Wargo "Be present. Be incredible. As for God, His way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; He shields all who take refuge in Him. ~ Psalm 18:30 Imagine a life in which you surrender to the wisdom and sovereignty of the Almighty instead of clinging desperately to control. We cease to rely solely on our limited understanding and instead lean on His infinite wisdom. Through prayer and reflection on His Word, we find comfort in knowing His plans for us are far greater than we could ever imagine (Jeremiah 29:11). The K.I.S.S. ~ The Lord's Word is flawless! In our everyday routine, giving control to God means letting go of worry and anxiety, as we trust that He is shielding us and guiding our steps. It means approaching challenges with faith and courage, knowing that His promises are true and His love never fails (Romans 8:28). It means finding joy in the midst of uncertainty, as we rest in the assurance that His way is always perfect. "Surrendering control to God is not a sign of weakness, but a testament to our faith in His flawless plan for our lives." ~ Kristianne Wargo May you all be inspired to let go of the illusion of control and embrace the abundant blessings of taking refuge in Him. In marriage, it's not uncommon to reach a point where taking the next step feels impossible. Change can be uncomfortable, and staying in familiar territory is easier. But what if you said yes? Sometimes saying yes to something new can lead to growth and strengthening the bond with your partner. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT https://createyournow.mn.co. https://createyournow.mn.co If you really stop and think about it, a thriving marriage is the foundation to an incredible life; a story you get to write every day. But, unfortunately, we hang out too long in our comfort zones; the pain that straps us to the chair of conflict, the hurt that divides our hearts; the anger that repels the opportunity for emotional healing. Where are you in crossing the road in your marriage? Are you the one standing on one side, just watching as everything goes by? Are you the one standing on that same side struggling to get across quickly so you can move on? Or are you the one who is standing on one side, looking side to side, strategizing when it's the best time to cross to get to the other side? Depending on the season you're in, you're the one who is complacent and waiting for life to happen to you. Or you might be in the season of rush just wanting to get it done, whatever it is. Or-- you might be in that season where what matters is your reason. The K.I.S.S. ~ What if you said yes! Stop playing the mind games. Stop dragging your feet trying to convince yourself of your next step. Just ask, "What if I said yes?" What if I was willing to put in the work? What if I found a coach or counselor that understood my position and not only helped me, but in doing so, impacted my marriage and family. What if I said yes? Here are three things a spouse can do to consider taking the next step toward a better marriage: 1. Communicate openly: Start by having an honest conversation with yourself first! Then, invite a trusted confidant to listen to where you are. Finally, when the time is right, you can invite your spouse into the conversation and share your concerns, desires, and fears. By opening up about where you stand and listening to all sides and directions, you can gain clarity and understanding. Remember, communication is key in any relationship. 2. Take a Chance: We can do everything right in our heads, but what about our actions? So take that chance to do what's right in this season. Now, don't do it haphazardly. Use your head and your heart, and with well thought out guidance. In other words, kick anger to the curb, don't take anger with you. Anger is not your decision-maker. 3. Create a New Butt Print: In other words, step out of your comfort zone. Embracing change often requires taking risks. Don't be afraid to try new activities, make compromises, or invest time and effort into improving your relationship. Keep in mind that growth rarely happens within the confines of your comfort zone. As Kristianne Wargo wisely said, "A risk taken is only a risk if it fails. Otherwise, it's wisdom in motion." Embrace the unknown and trust that taking steps towards positive change can lead to a brighter future for yourself, with your spouse, and for your family. Remember, love is an ongoing journey that requires effort, commitment, and the willingness to evolve together. Don't let fear hold you back from saying yes to a happier, healthier marriage. "When we love, we always strive to become better than we are. When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too." - Paulo Coelho What if you said yes? "Be present. Navigating the complex terrain of parenting isn't for the faint of heart. It requires a delicate balance of nurturing guidance, respect, and establishing crucial boundaries. How are you guiding your child? As a parent, you may often face the challenge of watching your child make decisions that deviate from what you know is best for them. While it's natural for children to test their wings and assert their independence, guiding them toward making wise choices and understanding the importance of boundaries is essential. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT https://createyournow.mn.co. https://createyournow.mn.co Author and parenting expert Dr. Haim Ginott said, "Children are like wet cement; whatever falls on them makes an impression." This quote succinctly captures the profound impact that parental guidance and boundaries can have on shaping children's character and behavior. By establishing and maintaining healthy boundaries, parents can instill values, foster self-discipline, and cultivate respect in their children. Another insightful quote comes from Brene Brown, a renowned researcher and author, who stated, "Clear is kind. Unclear is unkind." This emphasizes the importance of clear communication and setting expectations with children regarding boundaries. Parents can help children understand the importance of respect and accountability by clearly defining boundaries and the consequences of crossing them. The K.I.S.S. ~ Establish boundaries that protect your child! As a parent myself, I believe that establishing boundaries with children is not about control but about creating a safe and nurturing environment for growth and development. Here are three key strategies to help parents effectively establish boundaries while respecting their child’s autonomy: 1. Consistent Communication: Engage in open and honest discussions with your child about the importance of boundaries. Explain why certain rules exist and allow them to express their thoughts and feelings. By fostering open communication, you can create a mutual understanding and respect for boundaries. 2. Lead by Example: Children learn by observing their parents' behavior. Model the boundaries and values you wish to instill in your child through your own actions and decisions. Show respect towards others, uphold your commitments, and demonstrate the importance of self-discipline. 3. Encourage Independence: While setting boundaries is crucial, giving your child room to make choices and learn from their experiences is essential. Encourage independence by allowing them to make age-appropriate decisions and supporting them in taking responsibility for their actions. Establishing boundaries with your child is a cornerstone of effective parenting. By setting clear expectations, fostering open communication, and leading by example, parents can cultivate a supportive environment that promotes growth and self-awareness in their children. Remember, boundaries are not limitations but safeguards that nurture respect, autonomy, and personal development. "Boundaries guide us, protect us, and allow us to thrive in a world of limitless possibilities." ~ Kristianne Wargo "Be present. Be incredible. As author C.S. Lewis once said, "You can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending." You can thread a day of hope using your challenges not as barriers, but as stepping stones. Unfortunately, obstacles often present themselves as roadblocks, testing our resilience and resolve. It's easy to let past hardships color our present circumstances, clouding our vision of what lies ahead. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT https://createyournow.mn.co. https://createyournow.mn.co However, there are new mercies every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). Each day offers a new opportunity to rewrite your story, to embrace the unknown with courage and conviction. By reframing your thoughts and choosing how to respond, you can unlock moments of possibilities that may have previously seemed out of reach. The K.I.S.S. ~ Thread a day of hope! Renowned psychiatrist Viktor Frankl, a Holocaust survivor, penned these profound words: "When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves." Adversity may be inevitable, but your response to it is entirely within your control. By approaching difficulties with a fresh perspective, you can harness your inner strength and resilience to navigate even the darkest of times. In a society where fast food is rampant and Netflix marathons are the norm, the concept of living a healthy lifestyle can often seem like a haunting responsibility. Is being healthy worth it? With the endless cycle of work, responsibilities, and commitments, the question arises: Is being healthy really worth it? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT https://createyournow.mn.co. https://createyournow.mn.co Does the effort to eat well, exercise frequently, and sleep more truly impact our lives and longevity? Let's delve into the world of health and wellness to uncover the truth behind these questions. Research overwhelmingly supports the idea that healthy living significantly impacts not only our physical well-being but also our mental health and overall quality of life. According to a study published in the American Journal of Lifestyle Medicine, individuals who engage in regular exercise have up to a 50% reduced risk of developing chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and certain types of cancers. Moreover, proper nutrition plays a pivotal role in maintaining a healthy weight and reducing the risk of obesity-related conditions. One crucial aspect of healthy living that is often overlooked is the profound impact it has on our longevity. A study conducted by the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health revealed that individuals who adhere to a healthy lifestyle - characterized by a balanced diet, regular physical activity, and adequate sleep - are up to 50% more likely to live longer than those who neglect these practices. Maybe the question really should be: What is the quality of life you desire? The K.I.S.S. ~ Define your quality of life! To make the right decision towards embracing a healthier lifestyle, consider the following three key actions: 1. What matters to you beyond a number? Start small: Begin by incorporating small changes into your daily routine, such as opting for a salad instead of fries or taking a brisk walk during lunch breaks. These minor adjustments can gradually lead to more significant improvements in your overall health. 2. Where do you need to begin your health journey? Set Realistic Goals: Establish attainable goals that align with your personal preferences and lifestyle. Whether it's committing to a certain number of workouts per week or gradually reducing sugar intake, setting achievable targets will help you stay motivated and track your progress. 3. Who can you surround yourself with that benefits your quality of life? Seek Support: Surround yourself with individuals who share similar health goals and aspirations. Joining fitness classes, engaging in group activities, or seeking guidance from a healthcare professional can provide the encouragement and accountability needed to stay committed to a healthy lifestyle. In the words of renowned nutritionist and wellness expert, Joy Bauer, "Healthy living is not about perfection, but progress." By taking proactive steps towards prioritizing your health and well-being, you are investing in a future filled with vitality, resilience, and longevity. Remember, the journey to a healthier you begins with a single step. "One step at a time leads to miles of greatness!" ~ Kristianne Wargo Embrace the power of choice and embark on a transformative path toward a vibrant and fulfilling life. In life's journey, we often encounter challenges that can weigh us down and cloud our vision. It's easy to let worry consume us, impacting our passion and drive. Don't let worry whittle down your heart. But amidst the chaos, there lies a flicker of hope – a reminder that we hold the power to rise above it all. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT https://createyournow.mn.co. https://createyournow.mn.co Author Mary Anne Radmacher once said, "Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, 'I will try again tomorrow'." These words ring true as we navigate through hardships that threaten to whittle down our hearts. It's important to remember that our passion is the compass that guides us through turbulent times. As Kristianne Wargo eloquently puts it, "Passion fuels the fire within us, igniting the path to our purpose." When we acknowledge the power of our passion, we unlock a reservoir of strength that propels us forward, even when the road ahead seems impossible. The K.I.S.S. ~ Don't let worry whittle down your heart! In the words of motivational speaker Les Brown, "Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars." The journey towards fulfilling our dreams is often riddled with obstacles, but it is in overcoming these challenges that we discover our true potential. As poet Rumi aptly said, "The wound is the place where the Light enters you." Embrace your struggles, for they are the catalysts for transformation and growth. "In the grand tapestry of life, each thread represents a moment of triumph, a lesson learned, and a heart filled with unwavering resolve." ~ Kristianne Wargo Let us cultivate a mindset of resilience and unwavering faith in our abilities. As we navigate the unpredictable seas of life, let our passion be the lighthouse that guides us home. In conclusion, remember that worry may attempt to whittle down your heart, but your passion will always reignite the flame within you. In the words of legendary martial artist Bruce Lee, "Preparation for tomorrow is hard work today." Embrace the challenges of today to shape a brighter tomorrow. The K.I.S.S. ~ Take A.I.M.! Three Things You Can Do to Embrace Change: 1. Embrace New Skills: This comes down to personal growth. Self-improvement is a journey that requires dedication and perseverance. By stepping out of your comfort zone and acquiring new skills or knowledge, you are investing in your future success. As Tony Robbins said, "If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always gotten." 2. Set Clear Goals: Define your aspirations and outline a roadmap to achieve them. Without a clear vision of where you want to go, it's easy to get lost in the daily grind. By setting specific, measurable goals, you can track your progress and stay motivated. To quote Lewis Carroll, "If you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there." 3. Embrace Resilience: Change is not always easy, and setbacks are inevitable. However, it's essential to cultivate resilience and adaptability in the face of challenges. As Kristianne Wargo aptly puts it, "Strength is not measured by how much you can take, but by how much you can surrender." Embrace resilience as a tool to overcome obstacles and keep moving forward. Remember, the choices you make today will shape the tomorrow you desire. Embrace change, set goals, and cultivate resilience to prepare for a brighter future. In the busyness of modern life, it's easy to fall into the trap of wanting to control every aspect of your existence. The desire for control can hold you back from your purpose. Have you ever thought of God's gotta gripe with your grip? Because it may make you feel good to meticulously plan your schedule to meticulously curate your social media persona. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT https://createyournow.mn.co. https://createyournow.mn.co Unfortunately, we do really like control, especially when we have no control over what happens to us in our every day. But the thing is this. What happens when this desire for control becomes a barrier to your relationship with God? Maybe you haven't even given it a second thought. Who would think God would care about our desire to control? Well, God does care. He desires for you to walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). And in doing so, that's when we truly comprehend how to trust in Him. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." ~ Proverbs 3:5-6 You see, control is the barrier between you and surrendering to what God desires for you. Do you really want to get in the way of what God has for you? Because if you keep holding on tight to what you want, you won't be able to see what God wants for you. The K.I.S.S. ~ God's gotta gripe with your grip! So, at some point, you must relinquish control and let go of what's not yours to hold onto. Your divine path can only be realized if you let God lead you. With Easter around the corner and us in the season of Lent, I can't help but think of Galatians 2:20. Galatians 2:20: "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." You accepting Jesus Christ as your risen Lord and Savior opens up the doors of what's possible. Because with God, nothing is impossible (Mark 10:27). But there is one thing that will stand in your way: control. God's gotta gripe with your grip. So when are you going to let go? When are you going to see what He is creating for you? What time of day will you meet Him face to face to understand His plans, not yours? How are you going to lead your life well, if you don't let God in? God's gotta gripe with your grip. Set your mind on things above, not earthly things (Colossians 3:2). Find peace that passes all understanding not in what you know, but in whose you are. God loves you! Let Him lead the way, so you can live, love, and impact! "Be present. Be incredible. In the journey of marriage, it's easy to fall into comfortable routines and take your spouse for granted. But what happens when you both are ready for a fresh start? How can you move from mundane to magic in your marriage? It's time to recapture the love and appreciation that brought you together in the first place. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT https://createyournow.mn.co. https://createyournow.mn.co Why did you fall in love with your spouse in the first place? What made you light up when you saw him? How did you see you all as a couple in your dreams? Where did you see yourself going together as a couple? It's up to you and your spouse to continually keep the spark alive. Are you a willing participant? Or would you rather be lazy? The K.I.S.S. ~ Ready yourself for a fresh start! One way to begin this journey is through open and honest communication. Take the time to express your feelings, concerns, and desires to your partner. This can help create a deeper understanding and connection between you both. As relationship expert John Gottman once said, "Couples who can talk about their feelings, needs, and desires in a respectful way will have a stronger bond." Another essential step is to prioritize quality time together. In the hustle and bustle of daily life, it's easy to let time slip away without truly connecting with your spouse. Make an effort to carve out moments for meaningful conversations, laughter, and shared experiences. As author Mignon McLaughlin once wrote, "A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person." Lastly, practicing gratitude can work wonders in rediscovering the beauty of your relationship. Take a moment each day to appreciate the little things your partner does, whether it's making you a cup of coffee in the morning or sending you a sweet text during the day. Gratitude can shift your perspective and foster a sense of warmth and closeness within your marriage. As Kristianne Wargo wisely said, "Gratitude is the key that unlocks a heart of love and appreciation." Remember, a fresh start in your marriage is possible when both partners are committed to making positive changes and nurturing their bond. By communicating openly, prioritizing quality time, and practicing gratitude, you can reignite the spark and rediscover the joy of being in love. It's easy for kids to get caught up in the whirlwind of daily tasks and responsibilities, leaving little room for daydreaming and imagination. Learn how to help your child dream so they can step into a bright future. According to a recent study by Child Mind Institute, over 60% of children aged 6-12 spend less than an hour a day engaging in creative play or dreaming about their future. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT https://createyournow.mn.co. https://createyournow.mn.co In a society driven by instant gratification and constant stimulation, it's crucial for parents to take proactive steps to nurture their child's ability to dream and envision a bright future. Renowned psychologist Dr. Lisa Damour emphasizes the importance of fostering a child's imagination, stating, "Dreaming allows children to tap into their creativity and explore endless possibilities. It's a crucial part of their cognitive development and helps shape their aspirations and goals for the future." The K.I.S.S. ~ Dream a little dream! To help your child dream and unleash their potential, here are three simple yet powerful strategies: 1. Encourage Exploration: Provide your child with diverse experiences and opportunities to explore different interests. Whether it's signing them up for art classes, taking them on nature hikes, or visiting museums, exposing them to new and exciting experiences can ignite their curiosity and spark their imagination. 2. Foster a Safe Space for Creativity: Create a nurturing environment at home where your child feels free to dream and express themselves. Encourage open communication, active listening, and praise their ideas and creations. This safe space will empower them to think outside the box and dream big without fear of judgment. 3. Lead by Example: Show your child the value of dreaming and setting goals by sharing your own aspirations and achievements. Engage in imaginative play together, read inspiring stories, and discuss future plans as a family. By modeling a positive attitude towards dreaming, you instill a sense of hope and possibility in your child's mindset. In the words of parenting expert Kristianne Wargo, "Dreaming is not just for bedtime; it's a powerful tool to shape your child's future." By cultivating a culture of dreaming in your household, you equip your child with the essential skills of creativity, resilience, and ambition that will guide them towards a fulfilling and purposeful life. These words serve as a powerful reminder that our dreams and aspirations should guide us, not our fears and doubts. No matter how tough the journey may seem, giving up is never the answer. You must persevere, you must keep moving forward, for it is in those moments of resilience that you discover your true strength. The K.I.S.S. ~ Follow your hopes, not your fears! Taking care of your heart goes beyond just what you eat and how you exercise. It also involves nurturing your heart holistically - physically, mentally, and emotionally. Learn how to care for your heart and soar! When facing challenges, it puts undeniable stress on you physically, mentally, and emotionally. Your well-being matters in your overall health. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT https://createyournow.mn.co. https://createyournow.mn.co But who's thinking about that in the morning? Most of the time, your weight and wrinkles get more attention. However, you have to consider your overall well-being. Along with having discussions with your physician/medical provider for your physical health, have conversations about your mental health, too. The K.I.S.S. ~ Care for your heart holistically! 1. Eat and Exercise Well: Consuming a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains while staying physically active is essential for heart health. According to Dr. Rita Redberg, a cardiologist, "Eating a diet that is rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and healthy fats is good for the heart." 2. Meditate Always: Incorporate meditation and mindfulness practices into your daily routine can significantly reduce stress levels and improve cardiovascular health. As Professor John Teasdale once said, "Meditation is the discovery that the point of life is always arrived at in the immediate moment." 3. Reflect Often: Taking time to reflect on emotions, thoughts, and experiences can help you understand yourself better and promote emotional well-being. Reflective journaling or sitting quietly to process your feelings can be powerful tools for heart care. As Kristianne Wargo wisely stated, "Life is not what it presents you, but what you present to yourself in life." In the words of renowned motivational speaker Tony Robbins, "The quality of your life is the quality of your emotions." By nourishing our hearts through healthy habits, mindfulness, and self-reflection, you can cultivate a resilient spirit that propels you forward even in the face of adversity. So, commit to caring for your heart - physically, emotionally, and spiritually - to live your best selfie. The best is yet to come! Remember, taking care of your heart is a holistic endeavor; it's not just about the physical aspect but also the emotional and spiritual aspects of your well-being. So let's embark on this journey to nurture our hearts in every sense of the word. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #WellnessWednesday #CreateYourNow #HealthAndWellness 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? In pursuing your dreams, there comes a time when you must be willing to push the boundaries and take risks that challenge you beyond your comfort zone. This sentiment echoes the importance of following our passions and taking risks in pursuit of what truly makes us come alive. It is in those moments of fear and uncertainty that we often find our greatest joys. The K.I.S.S. ~ Live on the edge! As Kristianne Wargo said, "Embrace the unknown, for it holds the key to your wildest dreams." In this fast-paced world filled with constant self-doubt and self-criticism, learning to talk to yourself in a positive manner is crucial for maintaining mental well-being. Empower your inner dialogue. Words have power. And that power applies to yourself too. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT https://createyournow.mn.co. https://createyournow.mn.co For whatever reason, people think that it's the words that are only spoken. But the ones that are said inside your head have a greater impact. According to research conducted by the National Science Foundation, the average person has about 12,000 to 60,000 thoughts per day. Of those, 80% are negative and 95% are repetitive thoughts from the previous day. This statistic highlights the significant impact our thoughts and internal dialogue have on our mental well-being and overall outlook on life. Transforming negative self-talk into positive affirmations can lead to improved self-esteem, reduced stress levels, and increased mental resilience. But that means you have to intentionally think on a different level. What would it mean to hear only uplifting and positive things in your own head? Would that change how you look at your day? If you want to have a better attitude and overall well-being, engage in positive conversation. The K.I.S.S. ~ Engage in positive conversation! What you say matters. And what you think about, you bring about. 1. Practice self-compassion. Instead of berating yourself for mistakes or flaws, treat yourself with kindness and understanding. Speak to yourself with the same compassion you would offer a friend facing a difficult situation. When you make a mistake, acknowledge it without judgment, and remind yourself that everyone is imperfect. Incorporate this into your daily routine by starting each morning with a positive affirmation, such as "I am deserving of love and respect." 2. Engage in positive self-affirmations. Use uplifting phrases to reinforce your self-worth and capabilities. Remind yourself of your strengths and talents, focusing on what makes you unique and special. Incorporate these affirmations into your daily life by repeating them during moments of self-doubt or anxiety. For example, if you are feeling overwhelmed at work, silently affirm, "I am competent and able to handle any challenge that comes my way." 3. Practice gratitude towards yourself. Recognize and appreciate the efforts you make, no matter how small they may seem. Acknowledge your achievements and progress, celebrating even the tiniest victories. By expressing gratitude towards yourself, you cultivate a sense of self-worth and confidence. Incorporate this practice into your daily routine by keeping a gratitude journal, listing three things you are grateful for about yourself each day. Remember, the way you speak to yourself matters. By incorporating self-compassion, positive affirmations, and gratitude into your inner dialogue, you can transform your self-talk from negative to empowering. "Words have power; use them wisely to uplift and inspire yourself." "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #MindsetMonday #CreateYourNow #PersonalDevelopment 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women?
