Diamonde Williamson’s mission is to empower women by living her own dream and creating inspiring digital and television content. After producing shows on networks such as OWN, USA, TV One and WETv, Diamonde is determined to create more opportunities for black women to see an expanded view of themselves and tell their authentic stories.

During this episode, Diamonde shared with us how she started her career in television, what challenges she faced going into an industry that exploits African Americans on “rachet tv” and how she plans to make a difference in showing people of color in a way that promotes excellence through her new broadcast channel, Blossom Network TV.  She also shared how getting fired 4 times was the best thing that ever happened to her.
