About

Koereyelle made her mark in 2011 when she founded The Single Wives Club, an education and empowerment organization that inspires single ladies to become better women before becoming wives. She is also the creator of ReadyToWERK.com, a branding boutique that offers classes and consulting for entrepreneurs.

Koereyelle has truly become the voice for single women, representing the “new single woman” who wants love and marriage, but has not detoured her focus from her education and career. She’s been featured nationally by ESSENCE Magazine, The Tom Joyner Morning Show, MadameNoire, Rolling Out and many more outlets for her work with The Single Wives Club. Most recently, she’s added Author to her resumé with the release of her debut title, WERK101: Get-Your-Life-Together Guide.

In this episode, Koereyelle shares with us how she left what was supposed to be her dream job as an elementary school teacher, after a marriage proposal had ended, and gave up everything to relocate to Abu Dhabi.  Two weeks before she was scheduled to leave, she decided not to go. She knew going to Abu Dhabi was not what she really wanted to do, and that it was only a means to running away from what she didn’t want to deal with in her life. With no plan, she decided to stay and shares with us what she did next and how The Singles Wives Club was born, and how she built her successful business empire!
