My guest this week is former Ospreys centre and Social Media superstar - Ben John

 

This interview was recorded in September of 2023 and we talked about Ben's recent journey to the World Cup in a campervan, starting out at Loughor RFC, playing in the Junior Rugby World Cup in Argentina, reflections on being a Pro with the Ospreys (including a brief stint in the back row with Jerry Collins) and how that crosses over into the real world. We spoke about how Ben had to retire prematurely due to successive concussions and how that led to post-rugby physical challenges.

 

Finally, we chatted about the creation of The Rugby Trainer where Ben is inspiring kids and adults to play the game.
