Hello to you listening in Sarver, Butler County, Pennsylvania!

Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is Stories From Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds for Story Prompt Friday and your host, Diane Wyzga.

When I’m operating at less than my best, and more my righteous, opinionated, judgmental self I remember something Elizabeth Ellis, my friend and storytelling mentor said to me: “When we feel like a hammer everything looks like a nail.

My teacher, the venerable Vietnamese Buddhist monk Thich Nhat Hanh had this to say to us, "For things to reveal themselves to us, we need to be ready to abandon our views about them.”

Story Prompt: What if you shifted your mindset about something or someone? What good might come from that? Maybe no more hammer. Write that story!

You’re always invited: “Come for the stories - stay for the magic!” Speaking of magic, would you subscribe, share a 5-star rating + nice review on your social media or podcast channel of choice, and join us next time!
