originally released 27/7/2017 why did we do this Weezer podcast? listening back on this we didn't really like the album, i'm being 💩 to Rivers and we're constantly talking about anything else (Twin Peaks again). we also didn't have a format and it's 3-5 times shorter than nowadays. there's no tracks and chats version this time because we don't discuss the tracks individually. It's the usual ramble, then they talk about the new FX show Y the Last Man based on the vertigo comic of the same name. Richard & G went on a walk to test a new recording idea; recording to the memo apps on their respective phones and then syncing them together. Obvious things were confirmed: wind is bad traffic is bad and moving around each other while walking and keeping socially distant creates phasing issues. This audio was captured as they entered Duthie Park until just after they left the other 90 minutes were... mostly traffic noise and wind. so why are we posting this? because Richard & G are now working polar opposite shifts and aren't 100% sure when they'll next get to meet up. so this may lead to another break in the podcast.
