We got a lot of footage from Soul Calibur 6 this past weekend so there are a lot of things to look over and glean about what we can expect from the new game. Tekken Mobile is a free-to-play Smart Phone game currently in the process of pre-registration but will be releasing officially soon. A balance changelist for the console/PC version of Tekken 7 has finally emerged and this time for Version 1.03 which was pushed out recently http://www.avoidingthepuddle.com/news/2017/7/5/ps4xb1pc-tekken-7-103-update-rolling-out-endless-revenge-mat.html. The PDF file of all the balance changes were posted on the Japanese Tekken 7 website but I went ahead and translated the list here so people can know what got changed in the latest update. These balance changelogs include Nina, Lee, Miguel, Bears, Eddy, Eliza and Akuma changes. Combo Breaker had 180 entrants for Tekken 7 with fierce competition coming together to see who would come out on top. There was exciting moments throughout the event like the the big upsets during pools and the matches during Top 8 culminating in a big Tekken spectacle. Thanks to the fast work of the streaming crew and Bandai Namco, YouTube archives for Top 8 of Tekken 7 are now available to watch if you weren't able to be there in person or catch the live stream. Aris is back from his trip to Combo Breaker and a recap video with his thoughts and experiences from the event is now also up. I'm planning on hopefully doing another Punishment Ranking chart for the console version of Tekken 7 with 100% correct info when that eventually arrives. -- Contained within is character punishment rankings that lists most of the roster in T7FR's respective punishers to use during standing and while standing punish situations. It is also ordered together by the amount of damage they do seeing which character can make punish really hurt when they see a mistake made by the opponent. Tekken 7 Fated Retribution has now been out for roughly 2 months and the data on how well certain players and their characters are piling in on Tekken-net to review. The most interesting piece of info I'm taking away from is the amount of high ranked Japanese players for each character. This I feel gives a good idea on not only who is succeeding well in Tekken, but which character as well. If you're not aware, Tekken 7 uses a ranking system that goes from Beginners into the Dans and from there it goes into a series of ranks organised by their color scheme. It's not a 1:1 representation but I would say, a player that got to the red ranks (Genbu, Byakko, Seiryu & Suzaku) in Tekken 7 is roughly the equivalent of a Street Fighter player getting something like Platinum rank in SFV. Best of Three is a podcast carried out by Daily Dot Esports as a source of fighting game news, analysis and interviews. Tekken 7 Fated Retribution is getting a big update tomorrow bringing T7FR up to version C or more simply, the "Bob Update." This online update for arcades bring a new wave of balance changes to the game and all the changes have been published online for everyone to see on the Tekken-Official website.
