Four very different and very interesting tales this week! Dan kicks us off with a story somewhere in west Texas that centers around some Black Eyed Children. MAYBE. If not BEK, than what? Then, a second story that is set in two different locations in South Carolina, that both claim to be haunted, and both share the same name: The Rose Hill Plantation. Lynze has two very unique tales this week. Her first explores vulture culture briefly and lost time and space amongst friends. What kind of chaos can you expect when exploring dead carcasses? Wrapping it up, the last tale is of astral projection. Such a heady concept that both Dan and Lynze have musings on. Dan kicks off this weeks show with a doozy! Neither are normal when it comes to subject matter. No ghosts today. No demons. No shadow people or even cryptids. Both have an extraterrestrial spin to them. The first deals with a woman in the late 1960s encountering something horrifying and seemingly not of this world. It’s a very strange story. Then, a series of encounters with UFOS, and possibly extraterrestrial beings as well, spotted around Russia, primarily back in 1989 when it was still the USSR. Lynze gives us a creepy but also funny tale about a haunted item brought home from GoodWill. Then she shares a story that we suspect ties to Native American Folklore. Dan starts with an alleged anonymous modern encounter involving a man hearing a girl’s voice as a child - a voice asking him to wake up, and a voice that keeps asking this for many, many years - well into adulthood. And then finally, something very strange happens that leaves him feeling certain that this voice did not just belong. Then, a tale that is about the mysterious and troubling disappearance of a young man who disappeared in the Idaho wilderness, not far from where Dan grew up, back in 2018. Lynze takes us back to our childhoods with a creepy game of hide and seek. Then she wraps up this episode with an unexplainable story from an EMT. Dan's first tale he is telling is about an anonymous woman allegedly encountering terrifying in a stairwell. Then, in his second storey, we learn about an allegedly cursed painting, The Crying Boy, produced by Italian artist Giovanni Bragolin. This painting was mass produced, and an alarming number of homes where prints of this painting have been displayed have burned down over the years. Yet the print itself almost never burns with them. Coincidence? Let's dig in. Lynze has some awesome fan submitted horror this week! The first is a classic road trip story that has a young couple spending the night in a creepy motel. Then, to finish out the episode, Lynze has a story about a little kids nightmares coming to haunt his whole family. Dan has one really big tale that is beyond captivating and unsettling. It's hard to say more without ruining the story. Then, Lynze brings us three stories this week. Dan comes with his usual two stories this week. One bigger one, and then a little one. We’ve done a fair amount of haunted asylum stories here over the years, but few with as detailed of a backstory as today’s. We will start by learning about Henry Cotton - a truly mad doctor who worked at the New Jersey State Hospital at Trenton, now The Trenton Psychiatric Hospital. The we will explore if his ghost now haunts the abandoned portions of this facility. Then, Dan dives into the creepy legend of a supposedly cursed doll named, Joliet. Has this doll been killing newborn babies for decades? Is this a family of Donna's? Let's find out. Then, Lynze has two really intense stories as well and she offers a warning at the top of the show for all parents- these are going to tug at your heartstrings. In her first story, she will share a story about a young child who drowns and nearly doesn't come back. But when she does, does she bring something, or someone, with her? Wrapping up the show, she has a story about a group of friends who go camping but come back minus a friend who seems to have simply vanished. Dan has two excellent scares this week. The first comes from friend of one of our staff. It is CREEPY. What starts off looking like a bad case of sleep paralysis or nightmares ends up being a very real case of an encounter with a pair of disturbing entities. Then we have a ghost story from the American Civil War era. Despite taking place over 150 years ago, it was well documented by some local newspapers. It’s a very odd story that is sad and scary. Lynze has three stories this week! She shares a tale about a possible sighting of spear finger on a dark road. Then, she shares with us one of those bizarre stories about time and space not being quite right. Lastly, a military story that left some servicemen beyond scared.
