The University of Saskatchewan and the Kikinahk Friendship Centre in La Ronge have been working on a study surrounding the Kikinahk Bus Service. 

They have been gathering statistics on the bus service with the goal of highlighting the importance of transit services in northern communities. 

Jacob A.K. Alhassan who is in charge of the study spoke with MBC about the research they've gathered.
