Do you want to stop being anxious in matches? Just like other players who sometimes feel the pressure, it becomes a distraction in their game?
In this week's tennis psychology podcast, mental game of tennis expert, Dr. Patrick Cohn answers a question from Brandon.
Here's what Brandon had to say about his game:
"How can I learn to get the nerves under control when I play matches? I want to stop being so anxious before matches. I’m a high level 3.5 player who competes well against 4.0 but struggles with the pusher/no pace ball at 3.5 which is frustrating. I worry about losing to this type of player."
Listen to the podcast to hear what Dr. Cohn has to say about staying calm and keeping your focus on the game and not letting the fear or anxiety of losing take control.
