Who's ready to talk about DINO DNA, lil onions? We're kicking off the 2024 season with an absolute banger classic, Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park (1993). To finish off the year, lil onions, Ross and I are unpacking Robert Zemeckis' truly terrifying adaptation of Charles Dickens' classic holiday tale, A Christmas Carol (2009). This week, we are cracking open one of the most frustrating nuts in American history through Oliver Stone's historical dramatization, JFK (1991). We're so tired we can't even see straight, y'all. Ross's one ask for mainfeed this year was covering this incredibly long message board dump known as JFK, Oliver Stone's dramatization of the events surrounding the trial of Clay Shaw and his alleged connections to the assassination of president John F. Kennedy, and one New Orleans DA's mission to prove that the killing was a carefully orchestrated mission to eliminate Kennedy from the political landscape by entities both foreign and domestic. TRIGGER WARNING for racism, sexism, and white men being awful in general, as well as gunshot sound effects.
