He has dj'ed alongside many of the biggest names in the DnB scene, having dj'ed throughout the British midlands, appearing at events such as Detonate, Drum & Bass Arena and more. Influenced by house, pop-punk and pop, he wants to create a sound that is both catchy and uplifting. He discovered drum & bass at a very young age, but it was during the famous Dour festival in Belgium that he became passionate about this musical genre. In 2019, he decided to start production and created “Dim Bolt”, in reference to the character of “Dud Bolt” from Star Wars. After his first releases on DnBFrance, High Tea and as an independent, he is now ready to reveal his future creations, on the border between “liquid” and ”dancefloor”. --- Originaire de Toulouse, Dim Bolt est un dj/producteur de drum & bass. Influencé par la house, la pop-punk et la pop, il souhaite créer un son à la fois entrainant et émouvant. Il découvre la drum & bass très jeune, mais c’est lors du célèbre festival de Dour, en Belgique, qu’il devient passionné par ce genre musical. Soon after his arrival in The Pink City, he founded the Sagouins Crew in association with a bunch of friends, which is active for 5 years now, and started to learn mixing. He quickly moved towards Drum'n'Bass sets and more particularly neurofunk and delivered technical and powerful sets that allowed him to play on many stages in the city. He started mixing around 2010 while playing in different clubs around Freiburg and soon became known for his diverse drum and bass and dubstep mixes. In 2012, Dava first started out producing dubstep. After a couple of years, he developed an obsession with funky, soulful and deep drum and bass, which he’s been pursuing ever since. His passion for the sound system culture began in Lyon in contact with the reggae and dub scenes, for several years he performed in the region and developed live performances mixing bass guitar and MIDI controllers. In 2016 he moved to London and absorbed the bass music culture, then in 2018 joined the legendary punk / drum & bass group La Phaze as a DJ. His recent productions are signed on various international jungle / drum & bass labels such as Deep In The Jungle, South Yard or Liondub International, and many releases are planned for 2020. ---- Speaker Louis est un producteur français de jungle / drum & bass.
