Helmed by Lana Wachowski, the movie sees the introduction of Priyanka Chopra, alongside the recurring cast of  Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Jada Pinkett Smith. Set for release on December 22 digitally, we share our immediate reaction to the trailer that was released a few hours ago. More specialized content is on the way, as the Vele make a full-fledged return by this weekend!

Episode 57 - Do Super Teams ruin Sports, Giannis is a champion and the Tokyo Olympics begin

This week we have a sports philosophy special as we debate the merits and demerits of superstar athletes forming superteams. This stems from Giannis Antetekoumpo winning his first NBA title and claiming he did it the ‘hard way. We discuss why he commented, the implication of certain victories meaning more than others, and the narratives players decide for their legacies (08:43). We also deliberate on the opening of India’s medal tally at the Tokyo Olympics via weightlifting sensation Mirabai Chanu (0:00). Finally we ended the show with football and NBA transfer talk (52:50). This week’s episode is a subjective take on how each of us individually rates a championship and if our standards waver when we are faced with the actions of our own teams.

Episode 56 - EURO 2020 Special: Racist fans, Italy take it to Rome and VAR ruins everything

This week we have a complete episode dedicated to an exciting yet thought provoking EURO 2020. As the tournament ended, Italy were crowned champions at Wembley, much to the chagrin of English fans (5:45). We discuss the racist abuse suffered by young black players after the game, and talk about the post game violence as well (18:45). We also talk about Italy's campaign and Gareth Southgate's technical and philosophical approach to football. Episode 54 - Explain Bitcoin Horribly and Buy Electric Vehicles ASAP

Another week, another episode with the Vele crew! For this episode the crew decide to talk about bitcoin. With El Salvador becoming the first country in the world to classify bitcoin as a legal currency, we thought it was about time we wrapped our heads around what it is and how it works. A very enlightening discussion (04:26). We then moved on to discuss India's focus on electric vehicles, due to the recent announcement of the extension of the second phase of the FAME scheme. In this discussion Kevin educates us on the growing market of EV in India and provides some great information for those looking into these vehicles (34:22). This week we explore a particularly dull week in sports. The Euro Cup begins and is getting somewhat interesting because France and Hungary played out a rivetting 1-1 draw, we give our picks one who will win and more (03:45). Also, Cristiano Ronaldo causes a 4 billion fall in Coca Cola's shares by putting away a few bottles at a EURO 2020 press meet. Not to be left behind, Paul Pogba responded by trashing on Heineken. Are woke athletes the need of the hour or do we support the pain felt by multinational companies (23:49)? Meanwhile, we hope for torrential downpour in England as India struggle in their World Test Championship final against New Zealand (35:23). Episode 51 - Ollie Robinson is in trouble, Family Man returns, Loki begins and Federer dumps the French Open

This week we try avoiding sports but end up being dragged into it anyway. Logan Paul and Floyd Mayweather Jr played out one of the most boring hug-fests in boxing history. But, they made a ton of money and that justifies any and every decision made. Ollie Robinson had a terrific test debut, but racial tweets from 2013 led to an indefinite suspension. How do we judge athletes for comments from the past, and will we evolve positively with social media as we get used to it with time (10:43)?  We then discuss the non-raging controversy of Roger Federer withdrawing from the French Open. Does this decision set a good precedent or do such athletes devalue the entire tournament (25:08)? We provide a spoiler-free and in-depth review of the second season of Family Man, as we debate the pros and cons of Manoj Bajpayee's latest installment (37:52) SPOILERS - (45:18). In this episode, we recap a polarising week in the world of sports. Naomi Osaka withdrew from the French Open, raising a hell storm on the issue of mental health in sports and the intrusive role of modern media in the lives of athletes (09:58). We discuss Juhi Chawla’s petition on 5G services being stopped until the public was utterly aware of the downsides of the same. Is this anti-reform or eco-friendly(33:13)? We also discuss the majority of opinion polls from Japan, citing the citizens' need for a postponement or cancellation of the Olympics. Are the games even relevant in this day and age (47:04)? We also mention Chelsea stealing the champions league from Manchester City (1:03:24).

Episode 49 - India's Data Privacy Laws cause a stir, Trump cocktail is up for grabs and Amazon takes over James Bond

This week, the Indian Government went head to head with global tech behemoths like Facebook, Twitter, and Whatsapp. The Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 or Data Privacy rules, have caused a major legal and moral stir in the country. The traceability feature of the guidelines have raised the crucial question of Right to Privacy, and to what extent does the government get to interfere in the personal thoughts of its citizen (06:20). We also discuss how the Trump cocktail or Antibody cocktail 'Regeneron', is an effective new weapon for private individuals to try (39:27). We discuss Amazon's takeover of MGM and the catalog they inherit (49:34), along with the popular Friends TV show Reunion (58:23).

Episode 48 - The Pentagon confirms Aliens exist, Luka punks the Clippers and Harry Kane bids goodbye, Eternals Trailer

This week we begin with condolences for the casualties caused by Cyclone Tauktae and Yaas. We then drift into a sport fuelled first-half, discussing the various storylines that dominate the NBA Playoffs. As we revisit our picks, we find ourselves doubting the Clippers already, with Luka Doncic and the Mavericks appearing on track to avenge last year's defeat. Will the Lakers stumble, and a new champion rise, as the Bucks appear to have gone beyond their Heat-shaped mental block (07:47). We then discuss Harry Kane’s future, as the England captain is said to be on the transfer block this season (21:35). This is followed by a shallow and ridiculous discussion on the Pentagon releasing footage of UFOs. Are the aliens truly here, And other pertinent questions are blatantly ignored in our conversation (36:41). We end the episode with an in-depth review of Marvel’s Eternals and Salman Khan’s Radhe (52:57).

This week we discuss some spicy Podcast drama. The Joe Budden Podcast breakup got official and ugly, with Rory and Mal openly spilling Joe Budden's shoddy business practices, two days after his infamous rant on the duo. We discuss what this means for podcasts, how it is to mix friendship and business, and our own experiences with the subject (07:19). We then discuss Floyd Mayweather's much-anticipated return to boxing, albeit in an exhibition bout with Logan Paul. Does this ruin the sport, or is there no harm in an easy payday for combatants?(41:06) We then have a short discussion on the Venom 2 trailer - what is this movie?(57:28) Then we finish things off with a recap of our comical experiences with PUBG's latest Godzilla update (1:05:38).

Episode 46 - Fortnite vs Apple, NBA Finals and Marvels Phase 4 is Here

This week, we get into the Epic Games vs. Apple suit. The makers of popular battle royale Fortnite are suing Apple for their alleged monopoly on all transactions performed in the app store. The ramifications for how this will affect the entire tech space is discussed, as each industry shall await the result for the precedent set in this case (08:22). The NBA finals are here, and we give our predictions for the conference and ultimate champions. The shortened 2021 NBA season has produced many new teams, and we discuss the Nikola Jokic MVP debate, Chris Paul's legacy, and the Lebron James factor (37:16). We round up things with the announcement of Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Over the next few years, some of our favorite superheroes shall return, and we declare which Marvel movie we are most excited for (1:05:08).

India has officially opened vaccination for all adults, and we get into an intense debate on the pros and cons of the same. We also ponder possible solutions for containing the rising COVID-19 numbers in the country (02:26). Then we shift focus to the Champions League, where the semis are upon us, and Pep Guardiola appears to be inching towards the promised land (45:22). We then discuss the Oscars 2021 Nominations, and our lack of knowledge about most releases in a pandemic year (53:09), and a scary Conjuring 3 trailer (01:13:27). Episode 44 - Failed Euro Super League Coup, Jake Paul crushes Ben Askren and Radhe is a reality

This week we discuss Marvel's Shang Chi trailer and Salman Khan's interestingly produced Radhe teaser (05:03). We then move on to the now failed Super League coup that shocked European football. Twelve of the biggest names in European football caused a massive uproar among their fan bases with the proposal of a breakaway league, now tanked due to the unanimous backlash (25:49). We discuss the dilution of sports with the search for money as Olympian Ben Askren got knocked out in the first round by YouTuber Jake Paul. Do such exhibition matches ruin sports or add to them? (45:43) We then shift our attention to the recent Apple conference and discuss their new releases (1:01:10).

Episode 43 - Police Brutality Returns to haunt us, a billion-dollar fine and Fast and Furious 9

This week the world once again faces discussions on the role of police in civilian life. Police brutality in the US with the killing of Deonte Wright led to widespread condemnation and anger across the world. Today we discuss our own experiences with uniformed officers, and police reforms that can help improve the current mistrust (06:11). We then get into the Ever Given receiving a 1 billion dollar fine over their blunder in the Suez Canal (42:14),somehow Fast and Furious releasing plans for an 9th movie (45:43). We then end the episode with a small discussion on the new PUBG map and our 'amazing' skills in the game (1:04:06).

Episode 42 - Corona's back, LG won't make phones again and more Marvel trailers drop, Football Talk

This week we deal with a record rise in coronavirus infections in India. States are introducing new restrictions, yet no complete lockdown appears to be in sight (09:58). We smoothly transition to LG announcing its decision to quit the smartphone market, which surprised anyone who cares about their products. This leads to a discussion on the brands that once dominated the phone market but are now nowhere to be seen (38:05). We finally discuss the new trailers for Loki and Black Widow, as Marvel ensures that the next decade shall also belong to them (52:44) and end the show with some football talk (1:03:35).

Episode 41 - Clash Of The Titans Godzilla vs Kong Review, Suicide Squad Trailer discussion, Suez Canal Fiasco and Our IPL Predictions

For this episode we started off our discussion by talking about our opinions on the biggest movie of the year so far Godzilla Vs Kong (04:01). We stayed in the realm of Entertainment and talked about the latest trailer for the Suicide Squad. Will it be good or as disappointing as the previous version? Only time will tell (19:05). We then moved on to talking about the Suez Canal blockage and how it affected the world. And finally the IPL is returning so its about that time where we make our predictions! All of us picked the teams we think will be in the finals, we'll see who is right when the time comes (43:40). A fun and eventful episode for sure give it a listen!

Episode 40 - Someone needs to change Elections in India, Politicians should wrestle and Opinion Polls are lame

This week, India is witnessing assembly elections in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Puducherry, West Bengal, and Assam. We first try and explain how the basic election process takes place in the country (7:09). This is followed by possible electoral reforms that we can attempt in the future. This is romantic daydreaming, but we feel this would at least clear up the clutter we are faced with now (30:52). We also mix in how an Indian version of a presidential debate would require pro wrestling elements, which honestly shall be the best takeaway from the whole thing. Episode 39 - Stop Boring Me With Climate Change Part 3

Our finale finds us wrapping up our Climate change series with technologies that shall define the next two decades of our fight against climate change. The sun’s relentless heat is a scary reality, but the ability to harness the same via solar panels can solve some of our energy issues (06:27). Similarly, electric and hybrid vehicles are the sole hope we have to reduce the fatal damage caused by vehicular emissions (42:35). This episode also includes our final thoughts on the matter and a solemn promise to choose more light-hearted content along these lines in the foreseeable future.

This is a special release where we review Zack Snyder's Justice League and give our impressions on the first episode of the falcon and the winter soldier. DC vs Marvel in the same week and we witness similar trends and behavior from the two comic book behemoths. Snyder's much-anticipated version comes after the release of the original in 2017, while this iteration somehow taking up 4 hours of every viewer's life. Meanwhile, Marvel opens the viewer to an intriguing look into a post-Endgame Marvel Cinematic Universe. Choose whichever series you wish to , but superheroes are back to being relevant in our lives once again. Episode 38 - Stop Boring Me With Climate Change Part 2

This week we continue our discussion on climate change with a renewed focus on personal solutions. First, we hear of Akira Miyawaki’s famous afforestation method and how it can impact and aid urban areas. This is the closest we’ll get to building a forest in the middle of our cities. This is followed by a confusion-clearing session on how geothermal energy functions. That translates to us asking lots of questions to our patient host, but we manage to glean an idea of its great potential. In other news, all Rohit Sharma slander is banned for the foreseeable future.

On this "Light" episode we decided to discuss the repercussions of Coronavirus on the entertainment industry. For our last topic we discussed the the Wall Street mayhem that occurred with the Gamestop, AMC, Nokia stocks - which was relevant at the time (47:32).
