The New York Yankees had an off day on Wednesday, but there are things to discuss, like Juan Soto being an MVP candidate. Is that too much to expect from Soto in 2024, or is it a fair challenge for the outfielder? Soto also did a Q&A with The Athletic (linked below) in which he talked about a few things, but Stacey and Steve focused on some of his answers. Like how he was used to batting third but was batting second in 2023 with San Diego and how he wishes he could have stayed in Washington. Then John Smoltz was on The Michael Kay Show discussing Soto and his spot in the Yankees lineup, and Steve had some thoughts about what Smoltz said. And there are some injury updates from Spring Training and a small move was made for a backup infielder.
