Although Riot promised there would be other forms of lore for new champions, we haven't seen much evidence of that yet. We still wanted to read about Smolder and see what the heck is going on with dragons. Unfortunately, we still don't know. We have mixed feelings about the lore moving forward. Getting stories via games like this feels , but Riot Games has gotten rid of Riot Forge, so what does that mean for future games and lore? Although Udyr got a rework recently, we still feel that his lore needs a little help. Perhaps there's here? Who'd of thunk it! With an exceptionally long bio and and a story that makes no sense, we're left feeling that maybe there were too many cooks in the kitchen for the Spirit Walker. But hey, at least he's got that one really amazing story! And also Spirit Walkers are very cool (and so is Udyr) --------

It's quite appropriate that we welcome the arrival of the scariest month of the year with the big bundle of spooky chains himself. Sometimes we forget how old Syndra is, and then we remember when we look at her 15 quotes and read her lackluster lore. We got to use the "P" word again for this one because WOW does she have a lot of it. Between hating Ionia and not even knowing what the heck Noxus is, Syndra would pair up well with so many League champs. And yet, she has met none of them.
