What does mobbing look like? Mobbing may not be easy to identify as it creates a smokescreen that makes it difficult to identify the forms of bullying and the real culprits behind it. Slander By spreading lies or making false accusations, the harasser or harassers seek to damage the reputation of the victim and encourage rejection by other workers. Discredit A harasser can undermine their victim's credibility and autonomy by making them appear mentally ill, suggesting that they suffer from some condition that makes them incapable or that their attempts to defend themselves stem from some delusion of persecution and not from reality. 1. Write a Letter. This could be to your ex or to the one who is gone. This can offer a safe and private space to pour out your emotions. Take your time. A Mind Flow State: What Does it Mean & What Are Its Benefits?

What is Mind Flow? The mind flow state involves being hyper focused on a task or activity where one isn’t too bored nor are they too challenged. During this time, we don’t think about anything outside of the task or have thoughts about ourselves performing the task. As I write most of my articles, I actually find getting into this state produces the best works I’ve ever written! You’re ultra-focused. It’s hard to distract you from the task or activity. In fact, when you do face an interruption, you might actually feel annoyed by it. You lack a constant stream of self-consciousness. We are always thinking. However, in a mind flow state, we don’t have that constant stream of thoughts or opinions about ourselves. We merely just do or “be.” You enjoy what you’re working on. When we enjoy the task or activity, we are much more likely to immerse ourselves in it. You persist, despite potential setbacks. When in a flow state, we might face fewer frustrations (or feelings of wanting to “give up”). Instead, we strive to complete the task to the best of our abilities, persisting even in adverse circumstances. How Do You Get Into a Flow State of Mind? So, how can you harness the power of a flow state of mind to achieve higher productivity and satisfaction?   1. Clearly define your goals. What is the purpose of the task? What do you wish to accomplish? 2. Find a balance between challenge and your skillset. A mind flow state is easy to achieve when you have the right balance between your skills and what challenges you. This allows you to push things forward in a positive direction while also boosting your confidence in your own strengths.

What is Psychological Safety? In the workplace, this often translates into a team perspective that it’s okay to take risks; In fact, it should be encouraged to foster growth and move the needle forward. What is an Example of Psychological Safety? A few examples of psychological safety include: Feeling comfortable asking your boss or co-workers questions Being able to bring up potential pitfalls or mistakes without fear of being prosecuted Encouraging one another to take some risks and bring original ideas to the table Lifting each other up in a group setting as opposed to shutting each other down through intimidation or bullying All of the above creates a team atmosphere where every individual feels valued and heard, which, as many of us know, is undeniably important for overall mental well-being and safety. This goes for leaders in the workplace and can also apply somewhat to parenting at home.
