In the latest episode of Bring the Pain, I continue my Hometown Series by highlighting Next Level Gaming that a friend of mine came up with. Jason, who is the mastermind behind the whole shebang, talks to us about his journey through life, which ultimately led to the creation of his gaming company. Jason actually outsources into many different avenues outside of E-Sports, like birthday parties, gaming/comic conventions, and weddings. Anywhere you think gaming can be a huge part of a party, Next Level Gaming is here to fill that void with amazing entertainment. On this highly controversial episode of Bring the Pain, I finally reveal my thoughts on the Pizza Bomber case, which has made many people wonder how such a crazy thing could happen. This episode isn't about the case or documentary, but I will bring those things up at times to link some of the time periods between my story and the time period that this happened in. In this wild episode of Bring the Pain, I go all out on many topics that need a painbringer's point of view. In this episode of Bring the Pain, Thomas "Kickman" Kiecker, who is a fellow staff member at Dr. Roto joins me as we catch up and talk about the trade deadline that just passed in the NHL. At first, we talked about life and wrestling since it is Wrestlemania season, which has me excited. Kick then talks about a fact he found out about Ric Flair that linked him to his favorite wrestler of all time, Verne Gagne. After that, we kick it into gear as we talk about a lot of the latest trades that went down on Friday before the NHL tradedeadline ended. Kick gets really deep into who won and lost from these moves that could lead to a championship for one of these teams. In the end, we move things over to the NFL draft and free agency that is only days away since we both have dynasty leagues, which we are both eagerly waiting to do. In the latest episode of Bring the Pain, Alex "The Messenger" Messenger returns to talk all sorts of topics. After doing our introduction podcast last time, we couldn't wait to talk hockey, especially since the trade deadline just passed in the NHL. We catch up for a little bit talking about Alex's recent recognition on Faces of Erie, and then we get right into Alex's thoughts on all of the trades. In this episode of Bring the Pain, I continue my Hometown Series by having Ryan on, who is one of two hosts for the 814 Spotlight podcast, here in Erie. Being a sports guy, Ryan has some very strong stances being a Browns fan, but normally, he is at home honing his craft for the stage. Being a local podcaster who wanted to share his love and passion for the stage, Ryan created his podcast in hopes of connecting people through arts and any other form of expression that allows them to feel free. In this episode of Bring the Pain, I reveal the players who have won the first ever Painbringer IDP awards. With so many seasonal and dynasty IDP league drafts going on right now, you'll want to know who the top players at each position were. Some of the players that won might surprise you, and that doesn't mean the other players should be discredited. In this post mortem episode of Bring the Pain, I talk about the life of my brother, Tom. What some used to see as a good life for him, there were demons that he had to battle every day. Growing up with him was fun, and like all brothers, we shared differences at times. That never defined our true brotherhood as we both looked out for each other at certain times in our lives. Hear my stories from video games and beating me finally to some dark stories many may have not known about. In the latest episode of Bring the Pain, I step back into the realm of VGM and cover one of my favorite systems, the Panasonic 3DO. Being so expensive when it first came out, the 3DO didn't last long after the Playstation came. Some games that came out on this system were trendsetting, while others left something to be desired. One thing the 3DO did right was give us CD quality sounding music that could take you mind on a rush through the hyperspace of VGM music. In the latest episode of Bring the Pain, there wasn't going to be a way to give out my normal lineups and format. So, I changed it up so that I could feature the showdown slate. My normal rundown of players will be substituted to talk about players you can feel confident about in your captain spot. With some players having bloated salaries, you'll need at least one contrarian player to help elevate your lineups. That player will help you sway from the pack while giving you the best chance to win some cash. In this episode of Bring the Pain, I have fellow staff member Jeremy on to talk about some of the defensive players that declared for this year's NFL draft. We decided to highlight three players that not only have made a name for themselves but also have great nicknames to go with it. Using a standard IDP scoring system, we talk about how these players add up to some of the pros and where we could see them fall in the draft. After that, we talked about the NFL playoffs and even gave out our picks for the Super Bowl this coming Sunday. In this episode of Bring the Pain, I talk about the recent passing of Carl Weathers. Weathers was an amazing actor who was best-known for Apollo Creed for the Rocky series. Outside of his iconic role as Apollo, Weathers was also recently featured in the Mandalorian series on Disney Plus, in which he played a pivotal character named Greef Karga. With him gone now, the series will have to make a change, but we will always remember all of his other roles like Action Jackson or when he played Dillon in the Predator. My condolences go out to his family and friends plus the millions that loved what Carl brought to the table for anything he was in or created.
