The San Francisco Giants and the San Diego Padres got the 2024 MLB season started as the Padres spoiled a nice outing from Logan Webb on their way to a 6-4 victory. Logan Webb left after 6 innings pitched and the lead, but the San Francisco Giants bullpen couldn't slam the door on the Padres offense, as they posted 4 runs in the 7th inning. Despite a 9th inning home run from Michael Conforto, the San Francisco Giants were never able to recover.
