Coming off of the most successful season this side of 2009, the Texas Longhorns and Chris Del Conte extended head coach Steve Sarkisian's contract another four years through the 2030 season.
While the contract details have yet to be released, it's safe to assume that Sarkisian is getting a sizeable raise, with Texas getting Sark's services for a relative discount -- as the third-best paid coach in the Big 12. For context, if Sarkisian was in the SEC for the 2023 season, he would have been No. 13 in the conference, just behind Eli Drinkwitz of Missouri.
