It's useful, during a fast, to focus on our own spiritual development, but one of the things we learn as we get into the habit of prayer is that we have the privilege of bringing the power of God into the situations of others. What a joy it is to know that the God who loves us and makes promises to us is unlimited in His capacity to heal, deliver, and prosper ALL who call upon His name. and that He hears the prayers of the righteous!
