As we begin week 2 of our church-wide 21 day fast, let's take a fresh look at why we do this. We know it doesn't impress God; it doesn't earn us anything from Him. Does it supercharge our prayer life? Does it make us holy? Let's take a closer look at what God's word actually says about fasting, what it DOESN'T say about fasting, and let's allow His word to provide the motive and answer our questions.
