Forcing a TikTok sale or shutdown won't address the privacy and influence problems it, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook all cause. We need to broaden our approach to regulating social media. In the short commentary, I look at our approach in comparison to the European Union, and suggest things we could do to make social media safer for all. I hope you’ll listen.
